Beautiful . . . he's a lucky man.
I worked as GO at the New Caledonia Club Med in the early 80s . . . had the chance to go to Tahiti but decided to go back to Uni . . . wish I would have postponed it a year or so.
Club Med was a brilliant place to work . . . and CM in Tahiti! (Can't remember if it was Bora Bora or Moorea)

I would very much like to visit Patagonia.
Takes me back to about 1979 or 80. The worlds greatest one way ticket. Singapore/Jakarta/Noumea/Sydney/Auckland/Nandi/ Papeete/Los Angeles. New Caledonia was an eye opener and it was hard to leave Tahiti. A month on Moorea, and two weeks on Bora Bora. Would so love to get back... That ticket was $500.00. People flying back to LA from Tahiti had paid more than a grand roundtrip. UTA French airlines.
I remember those tickets. As long as you flew only in one direction it was cheap as chips.
New Caledonia . . . we were there again in January. It really is a lovely, lovely place. Nice people, a nice mix of European and Kanak, but hideously expensive.
Tahiti . . . wanna go?
I would love to but the expense would be through the roof. Back then both islands had little guest houses with cottages with kitchens. Its how we were able to afford it. The dollar was crashing at the time. I remember getting 89 cents for a US dollar in Oz on that trip. Stayed in caravans in both Oz and NZ.
so backspin, with all ur withdrawal symtoms, 1. are u a geminii,,,, 2. where would u dearly love to go.
