Why am I so happy? - How about you?

Looking back over the past few years, I must be honest - absolutely nothing fazes or stresses me anymore

I used to freak out with my mad bipolar Thai ex #2, completely losing it when she did something fcuking stupid, (which was typically every day).

I'd get angry (occasionally) with kids in my class (when I was teaching in B&M schools).

I'd worry about money (lack of), life and the universe blah blah blah.

But nowadays, I am absolutely content and don't give a rat's arse about anything!!

I seriously wonder what events have caused me to be in this state.

    - Getting rid of the exes?
    - Living alone?
    - Following a healthy (food and exercise) lifestyle?
    - Buying a very realistic sex-doll?
    - Having regular testosterone injections? (prescribed/monitored by an experienced doctor)

How do other TD members fare? I know there was a recent thread about depression. Perhaps discussing what makes/keeps you happy can be useful for those who are feeling down.
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

It looks lik you have got rid of the causes of stress in your life, Simon, and the sex-doll allows relief of any pent-up sexual frustration, and that is why you are now happy. Congratulations.

Positive energy attracts likewise, imo. Always enjoyed your posts and SOH, Simon.

Time and experience also help in not giving too much of a fuck about anything. Where do you get the TRT done?

Ditto - in my case, game over. I won. 45+ years of nose to the grindstone payed off in spades - salted 10% of my pay away. Now it's a done deal. Effectively full time retired.

The phone ringing isn't a cause for alarm. No more, "shit, I gotta hit the road, plants down". No more milestones, meetings, targets, forecasts. No more fixing others fuckups... No more five hour waste of time meetings that accomplish nothing.

@Kmart - about TRT, I had all my initial tests/consultation done in Pattaya at a specialist TRT clinic. Actually, I have had low T since a teenager - it's a genetic thing in my family. Used to have slow-release T pills placed under my waist skin many years ago! Managed to father 4 kids despite of ED problems But that's not why I started on TRT. It was to try to help me build up/maintain muscle mass as I got old (not bodybuilder muscle mass). Since I was working in Myanmar at the time, the clinic showed me how to self-inject twice a week and have quarterly blood tests. That was a few years ago and I maintain the same T dosage which seems to work well. I used to get brain fog, but not anymore. The T also gives me a stonking great stiffy in the mornings!

The sex doll is called Candi, BTW and looks nothing like Pooh Bear

I'm happy too. Not much to complain about in the grander scheme of things; reasonably healthy, family is ok, i have roof over my head and money in the bank and a job - been through much worse than this COVID thing which for me luckily has just meant lock down and changes to working patterns etc - far worse in life. I feel for some of the youngsters for which this event has throw a spanner in the works education, career or love life wise, even more so those for whom COVID has resulted in a personal tragedy. Just have to make the best of what you have or try to.

Do a thread on this sex doll Simon.

    What are the details?

    Post a photo.

Does it make the squeaky noises J-Girls make when they are are being porked by a japanese micro-weeny?

I hope they have sex dolls that can hold IBM Watson level conversations soon.

I can make a 10 litre rectangular plastic pail and lid that works at the same weight that the best competitor company in the world makes their pail at.

A big challenge from them initially and I won which makes me happy.

Now I must clear Covid travel restrictions and to make some sales.

Well, I really do have a doll! But TBH, it's more of an emotional companion, although I can bang the hell out of it if I want. (She doesn't squeak though)

She sleeps in my bed and has some advantages over a real woman:

    - She never asks for money
    - She never has a headache
    - She never complains about my pervy sex acts
    - She doesn't eat me out of house and home
    - She doesn't make stinky nam pla
    etc etc

    There are a few disadvantages:
    - Her wardrobe allowance is far more than my own
    - I can't take her out for a drink/meal (Well I could, but I'd get some odd looks)
    - Lifting her will give me a hernia - she's heavy!)
    - She is absolute shite at riding pillion on my off-road motorbike

All in all, she's maybe why I'm content. She is staggeringly realistic As for the conversation part, she's dumb right now, but maybe you remember from other threads that I was writing AI chat apps 20 years ago.... She could be my AI guinea pig...

Kudos to you Simon. I think there is a saying along the lines of the true secret to being happy is knowing when you are. You seem to have that nailed.

Were I into LTs, then probably around 10... Actually, she's been a 'companion' for maybe 18 months or so. Also crap at doing the washing up, but you can't have everything

As long as she’s happy that’s the main thing.
