Candi and her friends are only going to get more sophisticated. I forsee a time when they will have temperature-controlled vaginas and a gland from which lubrication squirts when her labia are fondled. Not to mention various recordings of heavy breathing and squeals.

The documentaries about AI dolls are interesting to me, having a techie background in AI - read about my smutty chat AI software - Natachata - BBC NEWS | UK | Magazine | Has text-porn finally made computers 'human'?

Personally, when I heard the robot responses, I thought that they were terrible! A lot of room for improvement methinks. I wish I had the time to develop some sex-doll technology (AI or something else). I think there's good money to be made in this sector.

Perhaps I've just been unlucky with women. But after 3 marriages/divorces, I can tell you that my TPE companion give me much more (emotional) satisfaction that the real thing

Yeah I guess so. Finding a companion that aligns with your personality, needs and wants can be difficult for some. However hard to imagine sitting and talking to a doll and find it enjoyable and satisfying. Do you move it around to the dinner table when you eat, then after move it to the couch for some TV time, then move it to bed later or do you just yell at it around the house?

I still need a partner to drive me home after a night out. Of course, once self-dricing cars become standard things will look different.

Well, I don't sit talking to it all the time - it's just a friggin' doll ain't it? I generally live in a single, large (70 square metre) room. So I don't need to drag the damn thing around the room... She sits in my bed and she looks at me and I look at her - it's rather soothing to see a satisfied-looking companion with a cute smile on her face all the time, (beats looking at my mad ex all the time). Still, she shares a trait with many Thai women, in that she's incapable of discussing any common-knowledge topic.....

Japper has a point, you aren't the biggest chap and you said candi is heavy. As you get older its going to be like moving a quadraplegic around. Unless you live in a single storey abode she's either going to have to stay in bed or you get a stair lift or you get a Candi for every room. Learning how to firemans lift could prove useful..Tezza can demonstrate.

As mentioned, I live in single, large room - so no need to move her. I recently moved and my current abode has 2 storeys, but I only live downstairs because the room is cool and very large - upstairs gets too much hot sun - I use it for storage only. Anyway, future robot developments may see sex dolls walking around on their own...

Makes sense in a big flat, just move it every few days to keep it different. Change the clothes every few days.

As for common-knowledge topics or discussions you mentioned, that would boil down entirely to the women you meet and where I would suspect. Having a women that couldn't speak or understand any English is the same as having a doll to your point but at least she would move around on her own, clean up the place, dress nice and cuddle up next to you.

That aside, I read or heard some time back (I can't remember) that these dolls are extremely expensive like $5k to $10k depending on what the individual wanted.

    Anyway, Enjoy your companion.

I must not mention my previous partner.....

I was going to meet up with a very good-looking and rather tall Thai woman I saw on a singles site here in Australia, but under her reading tastes she put "lady magazine". So I don't think so.

I can't speak for this particular product range, but generally the days when things were made in the US and copied in China are pretty much gone.

Now they are all made in China, and some are sold via the front door, others the back.
