Seriously, I reckon Kanye is a far better candidate for Prez than Trump ever was. He is a genuine entrepreneurial success story, who made his considerable money the old fashioned way- through creativity, marketing and selling products of his own creation. He's succesful in fashion, not just music- a Real American success story, unlike Trump and the millions he inherited from his equally sleazy father, ripping off banks and shareholders/ investors. Slum dwellers too. Mr West pretty much single handedly pulled rap music out of the gangsta rap mire, and made it mainstream- never once shoved bullshit down his audience throat that he was a 'ghetto boy' made good- unlike, say biggie smalls. He's middle class- his Mum was an English professor (she's now on his management team). Trump, in comparison, is just a sleazy carpetbagger- with a long trail of victims who were naive enough to invest with him. OK, sorry about the Kardashian connection, but who's perfect.

Does it occur to some of you snowflakes that have gone all quiet about this, that You are exhibiting a form of subliminal racism here? Kanye West is Real and deserves to be taken seriously, in a way Trump certainly is not. Why aren't you taking him seriously, this entrepreneur with a colossal record of success in the music production, music writing and performance, and fashion industries. Is it a black thang?

I think he could be a formidable force for social justice (such as raising amerka's criminally low minimum wages, and getting a national healthcare system finally organised), as well as a breath of fresh air in redressing America's thoroughly racist foreign policy. A real Agent of Change. Meanwhile, the latte' sipping snowflakes refuse to take him seriously, and are more concerned about statues adorning public spaces, and long dead slavery. Well, I can tell you that toppling a statue of some long dead person who had slaves, in the days when we still had slavery a couple of centuries ago, will not help America's minority population one iota- but raising the minimum wage to something livable will. Even Chinese laborers do not need food stamps to survive. Shame on you.

I hope his campaign gains traction- and then just look at the vulgar hypocrisy of the latte liberals laid bare. See the media, MI, zionist, Big biz and Beltway establishments circle wagons and unite against him. Watch the attempted character assassination- all while telling us meaningless platitudes like Black Lives Matter, and we've changed the name of your favorite porridge oats. Fortunately, having been lied to so much by both parties, most Americans see right through their bullshit now. Sickening hypocrisy...

His best bet might be a tie-up with the Biden campaign, but I doubt that affable Beltway fossil would have the balls unfortunately. Biden would be an OK second term VP in my book.

That couldn't possibly be any more of a *cringe* White Boomer take on that 'Hippity-Hoppity Rap Music'!

Don't trash yet another thread with your whiney drivel ant. I believe Kanye West should be taken seriously. You are the racist here.

And yes, his mother died- as part of his management team. You want real change, support Kanye and real things like a rise in the minimum wage. Not defacing statues.

He's certainly left it late, and the insincere latte liberals in the Democrat party probably just consider him a threat to their corporate funding. We'll see.

He hasn't been nominated for POTUS Boomer, much less for the policies you are superimposing onto him.

Clearly, you don't take him seriously. Is that a black thang?
My Jury is still out- if Kanye is serious, I would love to see his campaign gain traction.

Can't believe anyone is taking this clown seriously, yeah a shit rapper and his homies are just what America needs running the country right now. Or ever.

I always thought the Philippines took the cake when it came to uneducated and equally unqualified imbeciles becoming Pres, not any more though

How so? Why the 'insincere' and he 'latte liberals' labels? As for being a threat to corporate funding, I doubt you'll find many corporate entities willing to fund the crackpot . . . and if they do they'll be from the right.

What makes you think liberals will vote for him, let alone fund him? You don't remember the MAGA hats, embracing Trump and telling him he loves him.

If this is just another troll thread because . . . 'oooh, he's black . . . libtards will be so conflicted' . . . A weak attempt

^^ So you think Kanye West is a crackpot? I don't- he is a highly successful business tycoon, who has not made his millions by deceiving people. I do not have to agree with his every position to believe that (or be a fan of his music). Is a black musician (and Producer, and business tycoon, and fashion mogul) not allowed to be intelligent, even if his mum was an English professor?

I respect him in a way I could never respect donald trump- now theres a crackpot, and a charlatan to boot. But you elected him America. And yes, at the risk of stereotyping, I do find latte liberals thoroughly insincere. Like the Democrat party- what have they done to redress the real imbalances within America, or it's awful foreign policy? They approach 'you the common man' all smiles and blandishments- then stab you in the back. Hint- that is why the current charlatan got elected. All shiny teeth, no bite. By all means talk about Policy, but the only thing I've yet to hear from the Biden campaign that reeks of policy is continued unqualified support for thoroughly racist Israel. Doubt we'll hear that from Mr West.

Considering he's a billionaire, his homies have been running things for quite some time now.

^^Yeah ok. I can see Snoop Dog being elevated to 5* General in charge of defence and Iced T being in charge of foreign policy. They're both rich too as a side note

Imma let you finish, but this is the worst publicity stunt since one of the Kardashians did something that none of their viewers expected, and it turned out to be fake.

Yeah - uh no. As much as Sabang is trying to push the whole "it is because he is black", that dog does not hunt after Obama.

As far as I have seen/read, there has been no paperwork filed at all, and he has already missed filing deadlines in several states. Not really the best planning, and that does not bode well at all.

My personal take is that it is going to take decades for USA to dig its way out of the hole it is in now - and as trump has so ably demonstrated, a background in business does not really equip you for a career in politics, especially at that high level.

He hasn't got a "background in business".

He's always been a daddy's boy propped up by lawyers and experts, and I'll bet you every single thing he's fucked up has been when he has ignored their advice and tried to think for himself.
