How many countries have you been to? How many have you lived in?

52 countries visited for me, but I was hoping to crack 60 this year before COVID.

I've only lived in 6 or 7 though.

I'm sure there are plenty on here who have more under their belts than me...

I've lived (over a year) in ten. Visited about 35 or so.

    Needs counting.

As long as you've left the airport it's a new country.

A bit unfair considering you were with the British Army. I still match you and it was all off me own back.

Being honest? Much less than my countries, 5 or 6 off the top of my head.

We has a thread about that once, long ago. I think Looper won it, though I think it was birds from different countries. And he's still shagging em....

Work has accounted for probably 1/3 of them and i am old, some collectors items too. You will pass me by the time you get to my age Hal - its amazing really that only 4 generations or so ago visiting outside your own country was rare thing.

I'm not a fan of travelling. Not entirely sure how I made it to Thailand in the first place.

Not all glitz and glamour, my kids would tell you that but some like Nepal with them getting woken up on their birthday with a full sized male Elephant dressed up in full festive dress was memorable for them - trouble is that is a hard act to follow.

Twenty-five visited and worked in seven. Not spectacular, but a fairly solid innings.

Twenty-six if I can count a morning spent shopping in Tachilek, Myanmar.
