I had that exact problem today.

She asked me three times if I was hungry. I replied 3 times, "Mai ow kap".

On her way out of the door she said she given my food to the dogs. Then drove off on her motorbike.

When I was hungry it was all in the fridge. With bowl of Mangosteen centres delicately opened in her best China bowl, along with a "I love you" note.

I may have pronounced my replies with the wrong tone emphasis.

Mine used to get angry when I made fun of her ghost fears.

I never learned to let up on it either. It was too easy to get a reaction from her I guess.

    Hur hur!

    She's technically a semi-formal member already anyways.

A couple of TD posters have seen fit to message her in the past. Which was nice.

Try telling her that whitening products do not work, and they are a waste of money.

WOW ... reading through those complaints, I feel relatively lucky.

    ---

We currently live in the West.

Shes completed her College English and passed the exams.

Shes completed her College Medical Certificates and is currently working in the field

Probably 3 points of friction ...

1/ I encourage her to be more positive when it comes to her English ... she's not very confident there, especially with the slang.

2/ I have a list of tasks which I need to do and she nags me about them. I get the death stare when I reply ... OK, I'll do that, but as soon as I finish that job, you'll push the next one ... so why complete the first job?
OK, OK ... I'll fix the hole in the roof next week

3/ She has this annoying habit of not listening to the question. She replies to a question she thinks I asked, but didn't.
When I point that out ... of course, I am wrong!

    Pfffttt ... minor gripes

Apart from that HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE

My wife has lost her temper once in the 23 years we've been married.

Central Wong Amat Beach Resort was the venue, in the late nineties.

The receptionist on the receiving end squatted down to look for something underneath the desk top.

And didn't 'find it' for about a minute and a half.

A suitable room befitting the payment I'd made in Bangkok quickly became available.

Who says it is cultural, maybe you just aren't very clear. Were you asking her in English or Thai?

My wife is constantly telling me that I don't make an effort to understand and take part in Thai culture.

Last night I told her I was going to make more effort to join in with Thai customs and was gonna take on a Mia Noi.

She went bladdy mental. You just can't win.

I sent her a cute picture of the dog.

But the dog was sat on her pillow. This apparently, is not allowed.
