All great artists were undervalued during their lives. Take J K Rowling for example, he died penniless in a one bedroom flat in Doncaster.

By the end of the story, I appreciated all the deliberate mistakes in the story.

Actually it's quite reminiscent of snaff's literary efffort.

    But mercifully much, much shorter.

I've already got a publisher. Things are happening so fast there's no time to proof read. I couldn't remember who gave the review so I just attributed it to a newspaper. No one's going to check anyway.

I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

Make it a Foreign Film and enter it in the Oscars . . . (is that the way it works?)

the worst part about it (and there's a lot to dislike ) are the deliberate mistranslations and obvious cultural inaccuracies.

that's it really....it's just so obvious. every aspect of it.

i would have guessed it was written by a teenager who spent a few weeks in Thailand on an high school exchange program, and was trying (and failing) to get a grasp of irony....and failing worse at trying to be funny.

    Jake Needham disagrees with you;

"None. It's funny, funny stuff. Although I do wonder how much of it would be lost on anyone who lacks... uh, 'intimate' local experience."

    Also Billy Moore:

"Just keep going forward that’s an improvement brother!"

i'm going to paraphrase a line from a movie, but i think it sums you up quite nicely....

"treading water in a sea of retarded adolescence"

consider making it your TD signature.

You seem angry Ray, send me the book you've been working on and I'll send it through to my new best mates Jake Needham and Billy Moore.

We could even go for a beer. LADS LADS LADS.

As a successful author I would encourage you to use your own words to make your point.

Just like my old mate said:

"Use your own words to make a point, son".

second time you've name dropped these two, so i googled them....they wrote books which newbies and sexpats buy in thai airports.

    kudos.

for someone who's trying so hard to be a satirist....you fail miserably at seeing the satire in the mirror.
