Now this is a proper FLOUNCE!

Spanish MasterChef contestant kicked out for presenting a dead bird to the judges

    Season eight
MasterChef Spain contestant Saray presented the show’s judges with an unplucked, uncooked partridge.

27-year-old social worker Saray was reportedly squeamish about having to pluck the bird for that week’s cooking challenge. Already upset with previous harsh critiques she’d received from the judges, she instead decided to present the partridge, uh, al dente.
It’s like Saray read the lyrics to the Australian MasterChef theme song and thought they were cooking instructions.
And it somehow makes it worse that she still plated it up with dressing and cherry tomatoes, doesn’t it? Yep, it’s definitely worse:

Now, my Spanish comprehension doesn’t extend much beyond the lyrics to
Despacito, but based on the clip of her big reveal doing the rounds on social media, it seems Saray was immediately booted from the competition. She certainly seemed ready to finish her MasterChef ‘journey’:

Sadly for the dumb bogan that wrote that, al dente does not mean "uncooked".

Given that your culinary level probably stretches to deciding which condiment to dip your nuggets into, I wouldn't expect much more.

Chicken nuggets. Nice one. You're more of a chicken stick kind of guy. "mid sized".

The term refers to rice or pasta . . . maybe veggies as a long shot.

I don't know how to post the video in the link; she's either bold as brass or the producers set this up to 'create a little controversy'.

    Master Chef, my arse.

She just forgot the warm sauces:

" Dot the plate with small spots of spiced apple sauce. Spoon the kale, porridge oats and bacon mixture into the centre of each of four serving plates. Carve the legs and breast away from the partridges, placing the meat back onto the carcass for presentation. Place each partridge on top of the kale and bacon mixture. Drizzle over the walnut sauce. Spoon the walnut and marjoram dressing around the edge of each plate."
