What is a little odd is the clean snap on the beak, like someone decided it would look better if there was less beak. There is a shop selling blinged out ornamental dinosaurs in my local mall along with a lot of very clearly fake Versace vases.

Just had these two paintings delivered.

Art From Your Home-ap1-jpgArt From Your Home-ap2-jpg

For my new house - They are big, 155cm diameter - Same height as wife.

I have high ceilings in my new house and needed 2 pieces to finish off a room.

Paintings are Aboriginal, bought from an Auction. - Galleries currently are struggling to sell their artworks due to no foot traffic with Covid 19 therefore many are putting them up on auction sites.

Artists are Rosemary Pitjara and Jeannie Pitjara - titled "Bush Medicine Leaves"
They will look good in situ, trust me.

Cheers, once the home is complete, I will post pics of each room. I have had help from a couple of interior designers so I am quite confident about the decor, layout etc - No doubt the Grand Ol’ TD jury will decide.

    Outstanding pieces.

The red one is the quality.

The second piece almost looks like simulated images of the observable universe when they zoom out by, I don't know, a few hundred giglion dreamtimes.

    Just for fun.

This is an original, has value (Albert Ernest Bean Backus Paintings & Artwork for Sale | Albert Ernest Bean Backus Art Value Price Guide) and how it ended up on my wall.

A family member was in a book store eons ago and the painting above was being raffled to help promote a charity. Give 5.00 (US dollars) and receive a ticket.

Few weeks later the family member receives a call from the book store,……….“congratulations you won”.

When the family member goes to pick the painting up the person who was handing the painting over informed them that it would be nice if the family member would give the painting back so they could offer it again at a later date, as they have done in the past.

Knowing I enjoy tropical settings the family gave the painting to me.
