Tuob is a Crbuano word, a dialect mainly used by people from Cebu which means to make oneself sweat by wrapping one's body in a blanket while on all fours above a pot of steaming boiled mixture of mixed herbs and salt, often to cure oneself of illnesses. Its closest Western counterpart is sauna. In theory, it supposedly heats the body to extreme high temperatures causing one to sweat-off toxins and kill the virus in the process.
This hasn't been proven by modern science, but traditional
healers are theorizing that this method could be effective against the virus.
Might be worth a try considering that they still haven't found a cure or vaccine for Covid-19.
