Tim Horton's opened a branch a few months ago at Mall of Dhahran. Curious as to the hullabaloo about its coffee I had an overpriced cup (education isn't cheap). It was ok as far as coffee goes.

Thing is in Canada it's 1 third of what you would pay at Starbucks.

Here it's almost the same price, so I don't think it's gonna catch up.

I remember having the onion rings in Vancouver. Really nice came out like this with a couple of dipping sauces. Never tried the coffee or doughnuts.

I am reliably informed that Starbuck's on Commercial Drive in Vancouver is closing its doors. Cafe Calabria just across the road which was there before Starbucks is still going strong.
