Villa LaSalle, the Tesco on 107 and the 7 Elevens nearby were fine this evening. Villa with lower stock than usual but you're hardly going to be panic stocking Quavers.

It's crazy, I'm in China and it never got that bad. we're at about 6 weeks now, The xit hit the fan on the 27th January and for a few days the supermarkets were extra busy and shopping trolleys were loaded but the only things to get low were dettol type products, and 3 minute noodles and even they are back to normal levels now.
I've stocked up on rice and flour, other than that I don't see a need (yet).

I love watching greedy bastard people here in the UK get refused things in supermarkets , today a 5 foot six fat bastard got banned from buying 2 giant packs of bog roll and and 60 year old woman reduced from 8 bottles of wine to 4.

Stocking up on rice and honey. Those will get you through just about anything.

It makes me giggle every time I walk past the toilet paper aisle in any supermarket. A good shower and soap do the job much better than toilet paper. And until about 50 years ago, the vast majority of the world did just fine without toilet paper. Regardless, wish I'd invested!

Yes, talk about your fist world problem.
Trevor Noah had a laugh about that. Him having been a coloured child in apartheid South Africa he found it quite amusing that TOILET paper would be such an issue.

Put some AUD $100 bills to good use, though some are saying they're not worth wiping your arse with now..

I installed hand held shower heads for my mom and myself yesterday. Just thinking how they may become even more handy if the Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020 continues.

Going to the liquor store today. Hope there’s not been a run on Evan Williams and Tangueray.

Guinea Pigs, the rough haired variety are a good paper substitute and recyclable albeit a bit of shampoo is the trade off. No shops reporting Guinea Pig shortages yet.

Guinea Pigs, great BBQ'd if nosh gets scare and in the interim in the dark days ahead you can use their little round poos, dry and paint them and play carpet bowls or pentaque for dwarves in Rons case.

I heard there was no bread left at the local supermarkets.
I decided to check out the situation.
Had a good hard look and they were right...
