Chinese passenger who deliberately coughed on flight attendant gets tackled on plane

I didn't know whether to put this in the Covid or Airline threads, but it's too funny so I'll stick it here instead. Stupid cow.

Chinese passenger who deliberately coughed on flight attendant gets tackled on plane

Dramatic footage from onboard a Thai Airways plane has gone viral after showing a female Chinese passenger being tackled by flight attendants after she deliberately coughed on members of staff, the New York Post reports.
The angsty passengers allegedly became upset over delays regarding coronavirus checks, according to reports, and so she started to deliberately cough on staff members to get them to open the doors and let her off.

The chaotic footage was captured on Friday by a fellow passenger onboard the Thai Airways flight in Shanghai. Per The Sun, after the plane had landed at the city's Pudong International Airport, passengers were forced to wait "seven hours" for a gate as a result of strict coronavirus screening measures.
The Post reports that fellow passengers on the flight from Bangkok say the Chinese passenger started flailing her arms and coughed on a crew member, prompting a male crew member to put her in a headlock and - with assistance from others - tackle her to the ground.
As he did so, he yelled: "Come here! Help me put her down!"
The video was originally posted to YouTube by user Fugu M, who wrote in the video description:
"One Chinese woman went stir crazy on a [Thai] Airways flight and deliberately coughed on a female flight attendant to try to pressure staff to open the doors and let her out. Senior male flight attendant was having none of it, warned her, then a scuffle ensued. He was going to put her in cuffs, but eventually chose not to."
The original video has since been viewed over 760,000 times since being uploaded on March 7 (as of this writing).
Per The Sun, Flight Lieutenant Prathana Pattanasiri - the vice president of THAI's aviation safety department - said in a statement: "Thai Airways was informed at Shanghai Airport that there were measures to screen passengers with a history of traveling from risky countries such as Italy, South Korea, Japan, and Iran.
"We could not open the doors of the plane until instructed to and health officials came to proceed with checks. Therefore, Thai Airways had to wait for seven hours before officials arrived at the inspection queue.
"The Chinese passenger was upset about being held for a long time and coughed at one of our staff. After she calmed down we explained the situation to her and she agreed to sit and wait for screening."
Per the World Health Organisation's most recent situation report, China has been hit with a total of 80,904 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 3,123 deaths occurring as a result of the disease.

That's a fair point. It was a very stupid thing for her to do, but if feeling trapped and wracked with anxiety, one could get desperate.

    Carry on coughing...
Can't take a women down on his own , and multiplies the shame by screeching for help.
    Was he a batty man?
Time to stop having these dead weight queens on airplanes.
In fact I can't think of any job that a normal person couldn't do better.

Dumb broad, with the situation as it is what she did was like calling a bomb hoax at an airport, so she deserves whatever consequences for the delays and disruption.
