^ Impossible where I am. The small shops that would supply have completely sold out, and distributors will not deliver to them
I ran out last night so 8 days without a beer should be good for me.
I'm on my last bottle tonight.
Haven't ventured out in 4 weeks. Gonna have to face the Covidiots tomorrow. I think I've done well to hold out this long.
One 5 liter of both red and white La Vida, 3 cases of San Miguel Lite, 1 liter of Black Label 1 liter of Gold Label to keep relatively numb for the next few days.
Found a guy who would deliver so stocked up today.
I'm waiting for the end of lockdown in my area on 30 April... However, there are signs that it may be extended in Metro Manila & surrounding provinces since cases of new infections are still high. Might be in lockdown until 15 May (total 2 months). Pres Du30 is scheduled to make an announcement tonight re: end of quarantine. Small islands with few cases may end their lockdown by 30 April.
I've received word that a schoolmate of mine passed away recently, due to cardiac arrest. He was a medical doctor. It's not known if he had covid, but his body was cremated. Since I know he was young & healthy, he may have had it but was not tested for it (until some days ago, it was tough to get tested here). It was only post-Easter that they started mass testing.
Anyway, this might be the new normal.. Situations in Wuhan, Beijing & Seoul

Waiting here also - but, as I'm pretty much sheltering in place I expect the only difference I'll notice is the few relatives that live close will start visiting again. Not really much of a difference to me, or to the locals, the only thing that will change, as far as I know, is the 10PM-4AM curfew will lift and the Westgate Mall will fully open.
The locals here have a series of workarounds. I'm at the northern edge of Nonthaburi province, which does have about 150 confirmed cases. But, it seems the locals are unconcerned. Begrudgingly follow the face mask rules. It really seems their attitude is nonchalant - only the bigger places strictly follow rules and protocols. The smaller and medium places ignore the rules, regs and recommendations. Do not sit signs and lines are pretty much ignored unless the establishments employees enforce them. Less than fifty percent face mask compliance. Many face masks in the under chin position, a slightly lesser amount hanging from one ear.
Other than some closed shops local and the Westgate Mall closure - I'd be questioning just what measures have been implemented.
But, I certainly would not want to travel these days. I also comment that the Covid figures and graphic data presented paints a most positive response to Thailands addressing of the Covid Pandemic - far fewer cases than anyone would expect from the primary hub of Southeast Asias travel.
Is it manipulation of figures (I doubt that) or, possibly a result of Thailands climate, or a function of testing capabilities and protocols. How many rural Thai cases of Covid are not brought to the attention of authorities. I wonder just how many rural Thai's have ever even seen a Doctor?
Just confirmed today:
Lockdown or ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) has been extended until 15 May for Metro Manila and surrounding provinces plus Cebu & Davao. In other areas, the ECQ will end by 30 April and will be replaced by GCQ, general community quarantine. (the govt loves acronyms, lol) The General quarantine is a modified lockdown. Some businesses will be allowed to open, construction activities will continue, etc. Social distancing rules for public transport will follow later on. Good luck to that - the minivan operators here cram 18 ppl (Asian size) in a van. If you're a fat farang, then pay for 2 seats if you don't want to be squeezed.
My area is near Metro Manila, so I'm quarantined until the 15th. Sigh, 3 more weeks of this.
Schoolyear for kids has been pushed back to September (it usually starts in June).
I think for topper & graceless fawn, since they live in isolated islands, their areas will lift the ECQ by end-month. There will still be masks & social distancing. The new normal, I guess, until they find a cure or a vaccine.

Getting agitated by clueless muppets on Thai visa. While stuck here bored.
i think i is an alcoholic !
I've gained another skill, using Zoom for webinars.
Just finished my third one in as many weeks and it's definitely a viable method.
Used Webex earlier this week for a client in Singapore - inferior to Zoom, I'd say.
Still doesn't come close to face-to-face consulting . . . and it pays less
Work in Germany is easing restrictions at the end of May. I am starting to run out of excuses for not returning. The problem is when I do return they say I can't come in to work for two weeks. I suppose I could return in June but it all depends on getting flights to Bangkok and to Germany. May have to go Frankfurt rather than Munich.
Is the Thai visa waiver still good until end of July? That would swing an extra month stay here.
Still no word about Thai resuming flights or giving us a voucher. I guess we'll need new tickets...just as long as we can get back again.
House prices in the UK predicted to fall as much as 16% this year. Might be time to consider a retirement home over there, mibbe..

I saw an article earlier that international travel isn't expected to rebound to pre-pandemic levels until circa. 2023.
Before even then, and presuming we actually even can, I am bracing for an utter reaming over tickets come the end of the year. The confluence of less travelers, higher airfares, and my kids no longer qualifying for children's fares.
