The concern in the UK is that you can now be challenged in a court of law if you are deemed to have discriminated against vegans as they are now a protected minority. How long therefore before we have vegans taking up cases against meat eaters in the workplace. All i see is oportunity for a minority to push their cause and lawyers to make money.
TD sure is a changed place. As for me I could never be vegan, but I could be vegetarian if I could get daily access to this food and not have to live in Southern India.
^Yeah I've seen more than enough of your home cooking over the years to know you wouldn't last long going without things like steak, bacon, meatloaf, and pork chops
AO, ever been to here?
... quality beef in Bangkok, head straight for the Thai-French Butchery between Sukhumvit Soi 33 and Soi 33/1.
Coming from Asoke Junction, slow down after passing Villa Market and turn in at Subway.
LYNN: Halal high quality beef at the Thai-French Butchery, Bangkok
David what cuts and Prices?
Mate, it's been a few years since I've bought there, but it was quality @ a reasonable price.
I don't have Facebook, but their cuts and Prices are probably listed there.

Ok cheers.
Makro started selling Aussie steaks but seem to of stopped now.
I suspect most, if not all the ingredients, are available in Thailand. Makro have quite a selection of spices. Thai substitutes for some vegetables or a garden would provide the mass.
Go on, make a few dishes for the Blokes Food thread.
Still available In the frozen cabinets
Interesting. I want to try that stuff, quite curious to see what it's like.
I've tried the "rebel burger" at hungry jacks (Burger king outside of Oz) and it wasn't bad. I would certainly eat it again although it still is not up to a real beef pattie IMHO. In saying that there are some nice Indian vegetarian dishes I quite like.
I had some vegan mince pies at Christmas from Costa Coffee.tlThey were pretty good although I never knew they contained meat before
Could never stop eating meat though.
I haven't eaten meat since 1976...
