Gentlemen, it's really simple.
Use long and complex passwords and a second factor on each account that matters.
For the rest - Pornhub, Redtube, Teakdoor - use a dodgy account like nobbyfilipina@bullshit.com, because who gives a fuck if you lose that one? Russia? Chinkies? North Korea?
Let them have at it and set up a new one.
^ Just out of interest, what is the point of having an account on something like pornhub?
^ Upload yer home vids and get paid.
Ya durtae fooker Hazza.
That's pretty interesting info, cheers.
"A person has to be a Thai national, according to the Supreme Court in my case, to claim defamation. "
That sounds quite wrong, but I'll go with the Supreme Court's declaration.
So it's perfectly legal to defame foreigners in Thailand, not that it would be defamation, because they are foreigners. Hmmm.
I keep a junk email account to use for everything that could be lost without a care, using the same password for all sites linked to it; if a hackers wants access to my chess, sudoku and news accounts they're welcome to the lot.
As someone else said, for more sensitive services use unique passwords; for what that's worth.
There's little you can do short of rent a cave if a determined hacker targets you, which happened to me a few months back leaving me minus quite a lot, though initial access was gained via my phone and spread quietly to email etc.
As for email address security, forget it. Google email/hotmail/gmail password hacks for dozens of services that will give you the password to any mainstream email address; you give the address, they send you a screenshot of the inbox, you pay, they give you the password.
As McCafee suggested, don't waste money on www security, best you can do is make it a bit more difficult for intruders.
except the fluffer likes getting backdoored
I think with most of the major webmails you can put username+1@gmail.com or +2 etc
need to google it - you maybe able to put username+sitename@gmail.com
