    Pissups and breweries

So my lad is on his way out of Swampy this afternoon, and he's been queuing up at immigration for 90 minutes and counting.

And all the desks are manned, so it's just their stupid fucking procedures.

    Crap shoot.

....and yet, they still haven't figured this out - nor do they give a fuck.
    Go with it.

Do they think people have aged that much in a few weeks?.....

It'll be even worse now flying into Thailand, the way they're clamping down on people doing multiple visa runs(well non visa runs)

I was stopped and held the queue up for a good ten minutes with the IO showing me my last 3 entries with my inward photos on his screen. He then mentioned suspicious activity. All that shit after letting my Marriage visa run out in September last year then just flying in and out for the last 3 months on the normal 30 day visa exempt, of which there is no rule against I thought?
I showed him my flight out the next day and he said plomplem when you come again

Prior to that the fingerprint scanner had stopped working a few times and slowed the queue right down. It looked like it only needed a clean but there was no spray bottle there to de-gunge all the fingerprint smears off it. And not once did he think of cleaning the screen, just walked around, pressed a button and told them to try their thumb instead

Bunch of fucking idle retarded apes

^ How do you pay for that fast track? Can you do it all online prior to arrival?

I think I'm gonna start using that service if it saves an hour going through immigration... it wasn't too bad yesterday as I was with the family and so we used a Thai desk, but usually I'm on me own.

May even be able to wangle that 1700 Baht on expenses...

it's absolutely worth the fee if you're not travelling with thai family or it's a busy time of year.....particularly useful if you're in a hurry to make a connecting flight.

^ Do you have to take the limo? Or is that all inclusive of a ride into Bangkok? The taxi fare to Sukhumvit is another 300 odd Baht...

I used a different company that has since ceased and you had the option of a Thai hottie greeting you off the plane qnd walking you through, a Thai hottie waiting with a golf cart and also the limo service on top if you wanted it. It started at 900 baht iirc.

Speaking of which : do you think the state of your air-con filter is a reflection of the state of your lungs ?

Absolutely and that is why I clean my filters every two weeks and get the monkeys in to flush out the A/C at least every 4 months. Bangkok air is rancid at the best of times but us city dwellers know that.

Further more to that is when you stay in Hotels in shitsville yyou should clean the A/C filters because most do not. Next time you stay in one pop the cover of and have a look.

You may gag at the state of them.
