Is anyone doing anything interesting to see in the New Year, the New Decade?

    Shite ... I'm surely not

On me pad malone ... week before back to the Kingdom.

Even worse ... on a fucking diet.

    ---

Someone, anyone (everyone actually) must be doing something more fun then David, home alone with a bottle of champers (don't tell the diet) and some nice cheeses.

Happy New Year you miserable lot

    Also ...
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

    Yup,

Seafood feast New Years Eve - being cooked up as I post, then off to the family Wat New Years day to do some merit-making. One of them happy wife - happy life lessons.

And my world will be a better place.

To All - May the New Year find you both happy and healthy. Here's hoping that the new decade is both prosperous and fulfilling for all.

I was going to a pre booked dinner, but can't get a taxi. Big shower this afternoon probably washed local roads out.
A bit under the weather today anyway. Give me liver a rest.

    Happy new year to all.

I have a flight scheduled at 0020 tonight. I suppose I'll be sitting in a departure lounge or on a plane.

Night in. Couple of nice beers and a decent scotch.

Feeling a bit maudlin to be honest. The boy asked to go to the countdown in Siam Square.

He is 18, will start Uni later in 2020. Had to allow it. He is a good boy and we have to loosen the strings sometime.

But probably will not sleep till he is home. Going to be a long night.

Out of the blue, the friend of a friend that works for a Jap company in Bkk added me on FB, and said she's coming to CM for 5 days, but her friend had to cancel so will be alone and can I show her around.

Always the gentleman I said of course.

Hooked up a few nights ago, and just arranged to chill out in her hotel before heading to Tha Pae Gate or somewhere for some beers.

Jools’ Annual Hootenanny 2019 is on BBC Two on Tuesday 31 December at 11.15pm - 01.15pm.

    What's the big idea?

Jools’ Annual Hootenanny is now firmly part of the UK’s tradition in celebrating the New Year on television. He and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra take centre stage in providing the soundtrack to seeing out the old year and welcoming in the new one.

Who will be appearing on this year's show?

Joining Jools on this year’s Hootenanny are:

    • Stormzy
    • Brittany Howard
    • La Roux
    • Rick Astley
    • Tom Walker
    • YolanDa Brown
    • Stereophonics
    • Melanie
    • Eddi Reader
    • Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson from The Selecter
    • Joseph
    • Ruby Turner
    • and The Pipes And Drums of The 1st Battalion Scots Guards

    Nothing exciting here.
Staying home exhausted from working everyday trying to finish a job before we leave for Thailand in two weeks.
Hope it's all worth it. Ha

    Happy New Year.

That twat Rick Astley has a decent voice , seems to have found the fountain of youth from somewhere..

Would have prefered three tunes by Pauline Black of the Selector...

    Stormzy was pretty ok too.

    My breakfast...
