Patts - yup, too hot most of the year. I relocated to Nonthaburi, couple of years now. Don't know if I just lucked out with location but, weathers been quite tolerable six months of the year. Need more rain to wash away the dust though. Far fewer flies here. Moo Baan I lived in in the East Side had a rather large population of cats, feral and pet, and they did attract flies - at least thats what I blamed the flies on.

Always thought cats cleaned up after themselves scatwise, you know, bury their shit in a hole. Well, apparently not the Thai cats - buncha Hi So felines, to lazy to dig a damn hole.

Cats only bury it in their own litter trays. They gladly shit all over everyone elses lawns but do a good job controlling rats.Or I'd gladly catapult the horrible bird and wildlife eating shits.

For me, I started here for work so I did not really experience the novelty as most have. I do know some that did and they flamed out in about 2 years. A few left in complete financial ruins or close to it. I have always answered when asked by other expats considering living here that they do not do it for a woman on a whim. Fact of the matter is that after that sex rush is over (and it does fade away) then what else do you have working for you?

That is one huge perk being in that position to do so and if it doesn't work out you can exit. I do not see myself leaving as I am quite comfortable here but wife and I have talked after her Dad "moves on" about selling up and retiring to Sicily. Not because its better but we agreed it might be a nice place to live. Haven't done much research on it at this point. I do have family there but most I have not met.

I guess this is why I am always speaking on a positive note. Location is everything anywhere one lives. It will have an adverse impact on your personal disposition and attitude. My weather is only uncomfortable during those summer months but its totally manageable.

    The truth be told though,

To enjoy this shit house one needs to be in good health, cashed up and preferably not packing any Brats.

I mean one does not want to treat this shit pit as a serious kuntry it's not wired to roll that way.

Fukos Tefling for baht or shitters barley surviving financially can bash that up em.

    All good besides that innt.

You keep throwing kids in there. Surely if you are cashed up you can afford brats, maids, nannies and a great education for them in Thailand?

What is your definition of being cashed up btw?

    It's different than minted yeah?

It's all right for you Dill,

You sell ya Arse every night on lower Sukumvit and can afford to send ya Brat to the horrendously priced Private schools in Bangkok.

This will ensure a good education one would hope but spare a thought for the white monkeys who cannot afford that. ????

Fook me Bra, I cringe at the thought.

He acts like being childless is a shrewd financial choice not something that was foisted on him because no woman wants to have sex with him (and because he prefers to have sex with men in any event).

'Getting it right' is basically being a carbon copy of tel, would be my guess.

Not easy, as most of us can't carry off budgie smugglers as well as he does.

Having seen pics of Terry's home in Thailand, I'm fucking glad not to be cashed up if that's the life that's on offer with that level of financial security

    Good point.

And I'm also glad he doesn't have kids because fuck know what they'd pick up living in such unhygienic surroundings.

    OK fukers,

Lets talk about being cashed the fuk up eh ?

So I'm worth about 10 million quid and have spent it wisely on mull, Coopers Sparkling Ale , Dark Beer Lao, my cracking 1992 Toyota SV 21 Wagon, sadly recently deceased I'm sad to say, my top wack camper and my high class Condo with Icy cold A/C and my handbag spends a fortune on Noodle soup.

I can afford the noodle soup so I'm cashed eh.

Good luck eliminator. Have been to Hawaii a few times and loved it. An outside bar at the back of Waikiki makes the best Mai tai I ever had. Enjoy some nice motorcycle riding around the Islands. Some nice surf at Waimea bay. Are you on Oahu? I could live there myself.
