So basically I see it this way.

You have the plebs who ran away to Lieland because they did not like the Cuntry that they cum from and now they recon the grass is greener again in their home cuntry so they fookin orf back again. ????

Also a lot of them made their life very fookin complicated by punching out kids, working and generally moving their life South away from why they fookin cum here in the fookin first place.

In other words, instead of enjoying Lieland by keeping shit simple they fuked shit up by making shit complicated.

So now they get all bent twisted and fuked up saying Lieland is fooked, the people are all fooked up, the joint is polluted and fooked and best of all now the Political scene is all naughty.

Don't forget they are using the excuse that the Visa situation is way to hard now. Fookin bullshit fookers.

Jesus christ Bitches, can't ya just Girl Up and admit ya fuked up and now ya scampering back home. ???

Na, ya make a big bitchy story don't cha's eh.

Anyway, see ya later and for fook sakes get ya selves fookin happy if ya got time before ya fookin kick orf.

Cheers shit stains and you lot have a lovely day,

    Anyway Ballbags,

lets talk about these fookin wankers saying they leaving because the Visa situation and the regulations required to get them has becum to hard.

First thing out the fookin gate is this.....

" Cry Me A Fookin River Bitches. "

90 day report and TM 30 can be done on line quicker than these plebs have their daily wank and that don't take them long, just sayin eh.

Wankers like me who are on OA visa's and who refuse to buy the Rip off compulsory Health Insurance have quite a few choices.

Tell em to get fooked and go back on tourist Visa which will give ya 180 days in lieland on two seperate SETV's. This is piss easy and ya then avoid all contact with the Immigration filth.

Or flounce back onto an O Visa and then extend ya extention of stay. This may be short lived though simply because even though the Thai is fooked in the head mostly he can work out that making White filth who extend on an O visa pay Health Insurance is a top idea. Don't hold ya breath on this one fukos, she cummin eh.

The money requirements aint changed so fook all there and if ya aint got the money ya need to fook off simply because nobody gives a fuk.

Other fookers are flouncing because their shitty pension has gone tits up because of the exchange rate is fooked.

Well what did ya fookin expect ? Financial markets change over time for good or bad so now it's fooked innit. Tuff shit innit.

Smart fookers do not flounce over to Thailand and hope to live happily ever after on 10 quid a week do they.

Smart fookers allow for shit to go down and make sure they have the wedge to cover it. So the turds splitting because they are skint simply do not register on most peoples " Give A Fuk meter. "

And if ya going because ya just don't like it anymore get ready to feel the same once the gloss wears off back in your own shit pit.

No green grass is there, it's a shitty brown color world ova innit.

The trick is to keep painting it Green.

Have a lovely happy day Bitches wont cha's.

    Yer and i got more.

This for you tools who thought working in Lieland was a good idea. Mostly done by dudes who duff their bint, or Tefling fukers who prefer to be skint or just fukers who thought they would give it a crack.

    Fooked idea wannit.

To state the obvious... Any gig in life is cheaper without kids Terry, be it back in your home Country or bringing them up in Thailand.

Some people can manage it just fine, even on a budget and aren't spending Christmas alone like yourself, even if their Christmas Day is gonna be spent putting a Chinese bicycle from Lazada together and toasting the day with Mont Clair fruit wine whilst tindering various African street whores and Thai teenagers

When you really are cashed up Terry and not ekeing out an existence flitting between camp sites in Western Australia and isaan road trips involving 400 baht hotels, you can take your family anywhere.

    Seasons Greetings Fucko

There are so many reasons for my decision. The hot and humid weather was killing me, the total BS about doing visas and taking multiple pictures inside and outside of our house and even inside our bedroom. Drawing maps to get to our house and all the other BS for 17 years.

The crimes in Thailand are way above what goes on here in Hawaii. Granted there is crime here but at least the police do their job and post pics of the bad guys and hunt for them.

Why anyone is staying in Thailand is beyond me. I hope and pray that the only reason I go back is to sell everything, ship all my personal stuff and leave it forever.
good move, and Hawaii is a beautiful place to stay, not sure why you left in the first place

granted, Thailand was very different 20 years ago, now it's fooking hell

IMO, the best way to do it, 1 or 2 months a year is more than enough, typically Nov to Jan

the place is not what it used to be,

strangely, Europe still the same and getting better, a lot of Thais visiting and enjoying it a lot

amen to that, Europe cheaper now than Thailand, I mean WTF???

I guess when you are a broke TEFLER, or a frigging criminal chav, it makes more sense to stay in Thailand

Living like Thais might be feasible, but why would anyone would want to do that?

The lower end trash and blue collar, ditch digging oiks are no longer the demographic as far as I can see, certainly from Blighty. The whores here in Pattaya that festoon the beer bars in sleazy sois from 1800 hours onwards appear to be older, uglier and more raddled than ever with their numbers swelled by aggressively importunate transvestites of varying degrees of accomplishment. I rarely venture out of Naklua/Wongamat these days except to frequent Central Festival or to go to some restaurant or other but from these trips it's pretty apparent that westerners are a distinct minority, now vastly outnumbered by Russians, ASEANs, Chinks, ME folk and Indians.

Back in the day the relatively rich diversity of expats made Thailand a convenient and socially agreeable retirement spot within which to pootle around but now the landscape has altered quite dramatically and it is becoming dull with the remaining rump of westerners firmly in the category of ageing grunter that is quite literally withering on the vine. Bangkok's working expat population has demonstrably shrunk to a vestige of its former glory and this of course is reflected in a contracting social scene.

The thing with Thailand one has to accept, unlike other destinations, is that interaction with the local population outside the leisure industry is almost universally negligible and in truth, certainly from my own perspective, that is no great loss given their unique indifference to cultural norms outside their own ghastly limited milieu - to be brutally frank, they are an uninteresting, banal bunch and a drearily predictable bore anchored in a profound ignorance of matters not Thai and a puerility that is depressingly tedious.

It is this growing realisation that Thailand no longer is the grand bazaar of experience it once was to those hungry for the frisson of an excitement not available to them in humdrum provincial Europe, the US and the ghastly, dull Antipodes. It has become homogenised to a degree that is now what folk disdained in their own countries and is a bore, but what is worse it lacks the compensation of modern civilised living and is a bore in a shithole.

In the end, it simply is no longer worth the increasing expense, the heat and the growing irritations of a destructive immigration policy determined to remove western migration from the menu.

Bizarre though it is to say, I prefer Penang these days.

I think in many ways one needs to clearly understand why they are here. In general for me and because I work at 2 factory locations that I interact with middle to upper class folks so our conversations are about work, life, children and what we will do on the weekend or holiday. It is really no different then life in the US in many regards. However outside of that when we occasionally go visit other friends in rural areas it is really uninteresting and you have to "dumb" yourself down as the level of intellect is limited as are their desires to do anything other than eat and sleep.

As for the immigration stuff, to me that is all noise and never even hits my radar. Why some get spun up around the axle about it I will never understand.

That said, I have no hard fast loyalty to stay and live in Thailand. Do I like it here... sure. Why not. At some point my FIL will pass and it will be just me and my wife and she has an extremely small family and she would move wherever if need be. For now it just happens to work out very well from an income and tax position and has since I arrived here years ago. I net a hell of a lot more monthly then I ever could in the states. I have no financial liabilities in the US or here.

Could I move back to the US now....Sure. Do I want to....No. The positives still heavily out weigh the negatives. Maybe much later when I turn 70 or 75 we might sell up the place and move back. We have no children so the house and land will not be passed to anyone so it might make sense to sell. Our area has appreciated very well in the last 5 years. Might even make a few baht. Honestly if we broke even that would be a win in my book.

Your attempts at white collar office pen pusher, take it up the arse, yes sir no sir, puerile snobbery, attempted intellect is mind numbingly boring, however, people like you do have a habit of waking up on the floor in a pool of their own blood and vomit thinking "what did i just say?"...

A remark to an aspect I read here often: "Oh, it's here now so dangerous, such a heinous crimes happening here" and similar...

Happening here "only"? So, better to move into a more civilized country....

Just yesterday I saw a program in TV, they said, "every 14 min. a knife attack in UK".
Hundreds of dead by a knife every year, and counting... (beside the other vice)

Do we have it here in the dangerous Thailand? Of course, the Thailand means not only Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket...

It takes a lot of motivations to move and stay in Thailand,

why remain there at all costs when the initial conditions are all gone? seems quite suicidal to see farangs determined and desperate to stay in Thailand at all costs

It is all really quite simple. Anyone – doesn’t matter who, will seek and attain a lifestyle that suits them. All their options are considered and the decision on where to live is decided. Be it for family, profession or personal desire, they will select whichever of their option suits them best.

Doesn’t really matter where you are – all locations have pros and cons. Moving is an expensive, time consuming, difficult life disruption. It is not an option lightly chosen.

That being said, when the cons outweigh the pros – ‘tis time to make a change.
