My eldest and his mates all hard core Man City fans rung me up to give me an abusive chant at midnight.
Respect, they were thinking about me on NYE!
    Proud Dad moment!

    And kinda wish I didn't.

    Absolutely outrageous.

This was close to a daily moan but the wife seems to have saved the day. Family were overcropping land with cucumbers thrice in a row. I mentioned flowers and wife set them up with a company to plant just over 1 rai as a trial. They had the land set up and planted before we arrived. Anyway, flowers were looking ready last week but company won't come until next week. Several farmers in the area have lost out due to company not turning up in time.
After a day of phoning around, wife found a buyer for 5000 on Tuesday last. They liked and bought another 5000 yesterday and then another 3000 today. If the company doesn't turn up next week, the new one will take them instead.
Looks like we might break even after all.

Anyone else had experience with these companies? Now we have a separate buyer, I am thinking of growing from good seed stock.

Marigolds...they're used everywhere but especially temples.

They also happen to be good for the soil.

Good grief. I remember learning about the benefits of crop rotation in school, in history class!

Think we got ahold of the concept 500 to 600 hundred years ago (if not more).

Also used to make yellow dye. Some of it put in chicken feed to turn the yolks more yellow.

    ^ Interesting, didn't know...

Grand niece had a couple of nights in the hospital while they ran some tests. Chemo has worked its magic and the spots on her liver have reduced significantly. They are stopping the chemo now and using laser to clean up the last bits.

She's a tough little girl and a whole lot happier. Wife will be staying here to take her back and forth until April. Fingers crossed, she won't have to make such regular visits afterwards.

Congrats. I lost my uncle to bladder cancer six years ago. Then I lost my stepfather who cared for my mother who has Alzheimer's, February 2020. As imagined, that was a nightmare to say the least.

Believe it is the birthday of two TD legends this weekend.

    Saturday: Lulu.
    Sunday: Davis Ironman Knowlton.

There was apparently a birthday MMA contest set up, but Lulu ran away.

    Happy birthday K.Man.

After a few dry weeks I can at last close my front, wooden double doors without kicking them. Local craftsmanship at its finest.
