Get solar panels on your roof and flog it back to them as well as providing home and car energy.
Gonna piss if the big boys though if enough people can afford the initial outlay..

That's a relief. I believe you have kids though? So it's not entirely over, ever.

But a great step forwards, I would imagine.

Congrats Joe! Divorce papers often take some time, so celebrate!! Cheers!

Thanksgiving weekend is coming up and I'll be getting together with my family and seeing both brothers after a long time. I expect cards and booze will be involved.

PGA Tour is free on PlayStation Plus this month, so after footy tomorrow I'm coming home and spending the evening pretending I understand golf.

    Reminds me...

I got drunk last night and foolishly agreed to play in a golf tournament. Woke this morning to learn it has been cancelled. Yay!

It also turns out that when I thought my bottle of wine was talking to me last night it wasn't just cos I was inebriated and / or going insane so that's good news too:

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

Most early mornings I get out along the lane for a brisk(ish) walk. Last week Wednesday the air was noticeably different, the first morning for months that I could call cool. Not very cool, to be fair, only cooler than recent months. There was also a mist came down for a while. It didn't last too long, still it is a clear sign that change is coming.

On Saturday I finally saw some panicles on the rice plants. (There is a word I never needed before coming to Isan.) The rice has grown tall and grown well this year and I have been asking the gf when we'd actually see the rice. Saturday was the day.

    The seasons are changing.

Well, there's something for me to cheer about at last, after all the gloom and despondency that 2021 has brought along. I've been asked to run a beginner's photography course in my spare time. That should add a sparkle to the eye...

The photography forum could do with some more input.

I like the idea of Troy starting a "Learn to Photograph with Troy" thread, as long as he doesn't mind us Brit asking him to slow down whilst we wait for the Fuji Film container to arrive through Felixstow.

A tax rebate. A very unexpected tax rebate. A very unexpected and fairly hefty tax rebate.

These things just don't happen to me.
