Would you like some patronizing advice, or the sort of constructive criticism that drives posters off forums?

I saved a hedgehogs life, poor fvcker fell in my soon to be pond and spent all day tunnelling Tom,Dick and Harry to execute his Great Escape.

^ Hedgehogs are in my garden all the time, i know this for two reasons. Firstly they leave little turds about the place and secondly I can hear them shagging.

Upon investigation it has its own name “igelsex”, the noises i get at night are like this below but with loads of panting mixed in, now i have confessed this, does that mean i am a hedgehog dogger.

There is a lot of the usual crew applying themselves to this thread, still if you let them thrive they will spread.

In other news, we had a lovely cinematic afternoon.

Shawshank Redemption: been a while but its been sitting quietly in my library of DVDs. A library, an old concept it seems, much like quality of script and acting these days.

I bought it at the time much like others I considered worthy of keeping for posterity, little did I know streaming would become the norm when any idiot can dial up 1 to 2 hours of escapism. This film is more than that, it rises above the mundane, not a complex script but all the components of a masterpiece manifest by two things. I found myself caring about the characters and had a little void to fill when the film finished. Really there isn't much around to transport you that way nowadays when attention spans are measured in minutes.

Just returned from an excellent trip to Croatia with the expectation of having to quarantine for 5 days and then have another PCR test. Yesterday, Croatia was taken off the risk area list for Germany and we don't need to quarantine at all. (we entered with a negative PCR test).

For all my frustrations about not having an EU card, it was pleasing to note that immigration didn't bother too much. They were very pleasant and there was no hassle at all going in and out of Germany. There is a bit of research required to get the forms filled in for arrival, for everyone, but the Brexit angle was a non issue.

Croatia is sunny, it is fun, and it is friendly. A must visit if any of you have a chance to go.

I was there a year or two back, before all these COVID nonsense. Agreed with the comment about being a good spot and quite modestly priced also.
