I dare say, they are the first to break ranks and now the rest will feel the heat. I switched to them as they
group your car & house ins in one and on switch i saved 45% and over three years i have checked them separately each renewal and they are still over 30% cheaper.

Regular and normal [whatever that is] 12-15 second streams - going on three weeks.
Feels rather decent to be back to my old self.

Seem to be outta the woods for good.

Appears that these universal relief package schemes are reasonably selective.
The same is going on the world over for those countries that have engaged in this cash handout/relief policy.

Filled with nepotistic and bureaucratic tweaks -

Did you or anyone think otherwise, the real point is, is it going to reach those who need it?. Course the more selective you get the less will reach those who need it so biggggg corruption is what you need..

Some positive some negative stuff.. Got some money from the gov't, found out I am definitely paying taxes on that.. so I should set aside $200-$300 from each check.

Also paid back most of my debts recently with that money, and bought a few things. A pair of Asics running shoes and a bluetooth speaker so I can hear what is coming out of my laptop. Applied for some non-teaching job, and just got a call today, so I'll see if I'll be working again.

After a near two year delay the boat has sailed, so onwards and upwards to the next and final two - once this COVID smog has cleared.

    Just reading my twitter feed.
Good news on the virus front from the UK.Priti Patel announces shoplifting is down during the lockdown.
Then she is reminded most of the shops are closed ,lots of retweets out there at the moment Piers Morgan doesn't sound very impressed by the fantastic news.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

It is ironic that they have been appealing for people to use them. Still i imagine the wait time stats that pre-COVID were terrible are now looking very healthy.

I am teaching online again..yay! I'm speaking mostly to Saudi people. I must say I am very surprised on how well some of them speak English and how well- travelled (mostly Islamic countries), some of them are. Inshallah!

Another item struck off my wish list, we had Aircon installed in my office today. It's a small room so doesn't take long to become comfortable. With temperatures remaining in the high 30's for another week, it is very welcome. Wife is thinking of camping out in my office for a couple of weeks until the rains come.

Was driving through town today so decided to stop off at The Mall to see if there were any Western food surprises in the supermarket.

We get into Freshmart and my daughter says, "Let's get the cider first, then we can look for other stuff."

My pride grows by the day!

Well, i contacted the booking agent over my cancelled Thai flight and chased them twice. They said they would provide a credit note. Its turned up today via Email, i can only surmise that working on a Sunday means they must be swamped.

So the conditions attached to the credit note are that i must book through them and use the same carrier....fook. Will Thai be around?

Also i got my £25 refund from Admiral insurance too..

I've booked my lottery ticket online whilst i'm on a roll.

I have credit for four flights on klm. Think they are going to be near worthless as i think ticket prices will at least double, if not treble for the same leg when things start to open ip.

^ yep checking dates and prices, i'm going to have to top up the note. Trouble is do i go cheap early as they say with the current prices and uncertainty or wait a bit and find booking gets difficult and prices rise further - i think the former.

I'd opt for the former also.

Its refreshing to have a different news topic and slogan...

"Black lives matter" vs "stay home, stay safe"

    He was well chuffed.

My missus was watching the draw today, she had two tickets. She is as dumb as a plank, but i love her to bits. Every time i pray she does not win. Nothing would destroy het faster than a big win.
