For a one year contract and work permit that's how it should be, IMO. Perhaps Armstrong has a 2 year contract and a work permit for 2 years (but a visa for one year).

I won GBP25 on the old Premium Bonds this week and then - hold on to your hats - Air Asia refunded my credit card for the flight they cancelled on March 31st.
I'm on a roll. Must buy a lottery ticket.

After a few false starts and a government officer who was more obstructive than necessary I found an agent and revisited the office today with her. Smiles all round and a Yellow Book is now mine.

Yet more joy at Chateau Shutree. The new front gate arrived and I now have a perimeter which keeps my dogs in and every other dog, cow and vagrant out. My first sundowner on the porch without the neighbours' pestilential hounds in my face. Bliss.

Yes, same for me, I didn't know about the pink ID card until they lined me up for a photo and I asked why.
I already used the card at the post office when I was asked for my passport. I offered my passport and the pink ID card and she pushed the passport back to me. I'll be interested to find out where else it is preferred.

Pink Thai ID required for the entry to the next TD piss up I reckon.

We wouldn't want any wiff-waff showing up, eh.

Interesting idea. Will there be another TD pissup?
What if fluke, chico, and yourdaddy are sitting at a table engaging in deep political discourse and AO unknowingly plonks himself down at that very same table.

I think that those denigrated, victimized, bullied and trolled online might in real life be a tad irritable at their oppressors...

Worried there will be a line-up to take you up on your offers of fisticuffs?

I feel it is my duty to remind everyone that the Pink Thai ID card doesn't include the 30 baht Thai Healthcare Scheme. So I strongly advise all to have full health insurance to cover potential broken noses, necks, scratches, hair pulling injuries and any/all handbag wounds.

Once he puts his RPK-16 on the table all will welcome him.
