A fairly quiet one for me Katie, its cricket day today even though its Boxing day.

In the UK its traditionally left overs and cold meat cuts for meals on Boxing day.. cold turkey, ham etc with bubble and squeek. As i am in Thailand i'm having something delivered but no idea what.

What's the tradition with your family.

Hello toot! Christmas was a rainy, quiet day yesterday. We went to Church in the morning, then had brunch at a neighbor's house (friends of my mom). Then quiet time at home with mom, then dinner at sis' house with her family. Was nice to catch up, as I don't get to see them too often.

Now I'm at the airport, and this is the quietest that I've seen it. The OFW lane (Overseas Filipino Worker) was empty - first time I've seen it so! I guess the OFWs are still in the provinces, enjoying family time. Not much Filipino tourists going out either. There were cancelled flights to Cebu & some Southern parts of the country due to the typhoon the past 2 days, but now it's a sunny day abd operations are back to normal.

I may make a pic thread about this trip - I haven't travelled outside of the country during Christmas season in quite some time. Last time was to Bali in Dec 2013 - 6 years ago. That was my first pic thread, I think! Cheers and have a blessed holiday season!

I had Lamb with my Christmas dinner. First time I have ever seen it at Christmas. Of course there was turkey, pork and ham too, with lovely new potatoes and potato gratin which I love.
    No Brussels thank goodness.

Cauliflower cheese and a whole range of sauces, but no bread sauce. That must be a northern thing.

That's a brave thing to do!

I once flew into Bristol for a surprise visit to my folks but they were on holiday... and I didn't have a key.

Managed to get access to their house the next day after a night in a hotel... but had to leave before they returned home.

    A total disaster.
