Good thread on it here with a map :

    https://teakdoor.com/thailands-travel...vy-museum.html (Thai Navy Museum)

Reachable by air con bus but I forget the number. Also worth a visit is the Royal Thai Air Force museum on Pahonyothin Road , north of Saphan Mai but before Rangsit. Also free ! Worth it just to see their Spitfire.

    1214 a day.

Hotel- anywhere from 200 to 500 a night.

1214-500=714. You could also just stay in a shitty room for a couple nights and upgrade later.

Food- one street meal for 40 baht, 1 decent meal for 150= 190 I usually just eat twice on holidays. Plus some steet meals are good.

560 left. Rent a bike for 150 to 200. Or just taxi.

360 left for drinks and going out. Enough for 14 big bottles of SiamSato.

    Easily doable.

Used to be one of my favourites. Saw a lot of the city for next to nothing. Mind you, best to travel between 10 am and 3 pm otherwise too much traffic and no seat.

Take a boat trip down the Mae Nam Chaophyra from Nonthaburi clock tower to the Thaksin bridge . Takes an hour , passes lots of landmarks and costs about 10 baht

Take a 3rd class train to Ayudhaya for about 20 baht one way, then hire a bicycle for a few hours for 50 baht and pedal around the ancient city.

Spend a free afternoon at this park and use all the gym machines and salas for free :

Cheapest red and white wine at PATTAYA is at a small shop at PATTAYA KLANG (central PATTAYA), opposite corner of tops supermarket.

They sell any wine from 20 to 100+ cheaper than anywhere else.

Just curious about these prices now. Does a 7/11 burger still cost 29 baht ?

How about a bottle of Siam Sato ? 25 baht ?

    Some things are inflation proof
