Boomer? I fit the age demographic, but little else. So, as a pejorative I rather like "boomer". Many in my generation are utter twats.

Just another silly blame-apportioning media invention. I'm sure something else will be along very shortly.
Woke warriors need just two words to put you oldies in your place — OK boomer
The postwar generation has received the ultimate put-down — and, boy, they had it coming, says the activist, healer and intersectionalist poet Titania McGrath.
Old people are super-problematic.
They don’t know what “non-binary” means, most of them aren’t vegan and they’re not on Instagram, which means we can’t be sure what they’re up to. Even the ones who fought in the Second World War ended up voting for Brexit, so we can be fairly certain they were only opposing Hitler as a cover for their fascism.
Thankfully, there’s a new phrase doing the rounds on social media that is a great way to shut down an old person if they try to disagree with you. I used it last week when my grandmother was accusing me of living in some kind of “echo chamber” (even though all my close friends agree that’s definitely not the case). I simply looked at her and uttered the words “OK boomer”. The sheer sophistication of this retort left her utterly speechless. Victory was mine.
The word “boomer” is a modified version of “baby-boomer” for those who can’t be bothered with the extra syllables. And a great thing about the ingenious OK boomer riposte is that it can be used against any old person of any age, not just those born in the baby-boom era, between 1946 and 1964. It’s more a state of mind.
And now it has found its way into mainstream politics. Earlier this month, Chlöe Swarbrick, a 25-year-old Green Party MP in New Zealand’s parliament who was berating her older colleagues for opposing a bill that would reduce carbon emissions, snapped “OK boomer” when she was challenged. Who needs “argument” or “debate” when you have an empowering meme like that up your sleeve?
To be honest, I didn’t even know New Zealand had its own parliament. I thought it was just a timeshare for rich Australians.
The UK has a lot to learn from this style of politics, with two boomers going head to head in our general election. Some people call them Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn; I simply refer to them as “Boomer 1” and “Boomer 2”. These two can’t possibly be on the pulse of the nation. They’ve barely got a pulse between them.
Let’s consider for a moment everything that is wrong with boomers. First, they have no idea how it feels to be oppressed. Yes, there have been advances in medicine, standards of living, lowering the infant mortality rate, blah, blah, blah. But young people today have to endure far more serious problems than our ancestors ever did. I should know: it isn’t easy identifying as lactose-intolerant when you have no digestive problems whatsoever.
Second, there is the bizarre notion that older people have greater knowledge because they have more life experience. The statistics show that hardly any of them went to university, which just proves how stupid they all are. And of those who did, none took gender studies. Literacy and numeracy are all very well, but unless you have a secure grounding in poststructuralist queer theory and intersectional feminist activism, I can’t possibly take you seriously.
Third, boomers tend to believe in “freedom of speech”, which is a fascist concept used to spread hateful ideas. Thankfully, students today are fighting back against such outdated ideas and ensuring that people with the wrong opinions aren’t invited to speak on university campuses. “If liberty means anything at all,” said George Orwell, “it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” OK boomer.
Given that hate speech is not possible without free speech, any defence of free speech is a form of hate speech.
All the very worst people in history have been boomers: Osama bin Laden, Jordan Peterson, Adrian Chiles. I could go on and on. Even Barack Obama has started bitching about young people for being too “judgmental” about people’s flaws and for indulging in a destructive “cancel culture”. It’s so depressing to hear this kind of reactionary nonsense from the first black man in the Oval Office. That said, Obama’s mother was white, so that does mean he is 50% problematic.
As Greta Thunberg (peace be upon her) has taught us, the boomer generation has completely destroyed the planet, and it’s up to Generation Z to do something about it. At a recent Extinction Rebellion protest I saw a six-year-old girl holding a placard with the slogan: “Regeneration, not deforestation.” It’s so moving when children spontaneously come out with the things we’ve taught them to say.
I would go as far as to say that people over the age of 30 shouldn’t be allowed to vote, because they’ll all be dead soon anyway. In fact, it’s probably best if they’re all sterilised as well.
Let’s face facts. The older generation is rife with bigotry, sexism, racism, ableism and homophobia. Any form of prejudice or hostility against people based on their immutable characteristics can never be justified. That’s why these intolerant, desiccated old geriatrics need to shut their wrinkled faces and get back to their allotments.

^ rehashing an article isn't a response Tax.
See the problem with Boomers is that their winging about the next generation, is in fact uniquely hypocritical because it's the first time in the modern era where one generation has it than their kids even while their kids are approaching 40 years old.
So nothing you can say, can redeem you cvnt boomers. It's all in the economic data for anyone to see
Now see Hong Kong - the first Boomer oligarchy vs Millennial zoomer have-not war. Watch out for bricks and flammable liquids
That whole 'article' is just so utterly *Cringe*
Someone trying to be clever and just coming off as an overly precious and basely sarcastic arsehole.
I can see why taxi posted it.
God Tax. You sad specimen of ever living boomer swine
The current generation owe the Boomers everything, ungrateful snowflakes.

Trying to Trademark a Meme? OK Boomer
At least five trademark applications are pending for the retort, according to a database for the federal patent office, including one by Fox Media, which hopes to use it for a possible television series.

Why is this even a subject of discussion?
The subject of different generations complaining about the other has been going on for centuries.
If you are a simple whiny entitled bitch complaining about a boomer or millenial or some other cnuts...fuck off.
^Divide and rule. Pit the masses against themselves.
Boomers came of age just when the Greatest gen was clobbered by 20% interest rates. This allowed Boomers to buy houses and assets at generational lows and enjoy the longest biggest expansion in economic history. 40 years of being in the right place at the right time, 40 years of interest rates falling every year. And yet the Boomers think this is the result of their character and hard work.
Alternatively, millennials came of age starting around 2008. After the Boomers bailed themselves out, with debt and money printing and zero percent interest rates. And since then, we've had the worst economic conditions since the great depression. Sub 3% GDP growth for 10+ years.
AND YET, the cocksucking, motherfucking Boomers think they are entitled to bash the millenial generation. Guess what. They aren't. That would make them hypoctrical cvnts. Which they are.
cry me a fucking river you stupid snowflake loser, you were just born at the wrong time. so go whinge to your parents and suck it up and make do you with the opportunities that present themselves. plenty of youngsters doing very well these days, those that studied hard and have an entrepreneurial mind. even sparkies and plumbers earn more than doctors and lawyers these days if they are prepared to work honestly and put in the hours. entitled toerags like yourself just want things handed to you on a plate.AND YET, the cocksucking, motherfucking Boomers think they are entitled to bash the millenial generation. Guess what. They aren't. That would make them hypoctrical cvnts. Which they are.
you should think yourself lucky you werent born a hundred years ago and had to fight in WW2,
i suppose you would have been shot for desertion you lily livered weakling.
Im doing just fine personally. You fucking clown. That's not the topic of the thread.
But hey. Lets not that stop him from serving up some "Boomer advice"
suck it upstudied hardIts called an economic depression cocksucker. And it started when the Boomers bailed themselves out in 2008 with government debt and central bank expansion.entrepreneurial mind
Study hard ! These inputs all stayed in line for the duration of Boomers education.
why do you need your own place, whats wrong with living with your family? its the norm in most asian societies.
salaries not rising? then pool resources by living with your family.
With replies like this , I don't need to retort.
This is the cocksucker bragging about owning multiple residences , now telling millenial/zoomers "hey whats wrong with living with your parents ?" This is why the pitchforks are drawn.
But hey. I did well on my Bitcoin, I'll do even better with my gold. This isn't about people like me. Its about the average working person in my generation. That is getting royally fuct.
Where is all this Boomer wealth going to end up? i wonder
