Cheap rent compared to other places in Thonglor, but I found it a little too far from Thonglor central, and moved back to my old building in soi 53 after the 6 month lease was up. The elevator was dodgy too. Always jerking. JC Tower is one of those buildings in Thailand that although a nice building, was let to run a bit derelict as no money was spent on upkeep. The Mosque next door was a bit annoying with the constant prayers broadcasted also..
Had to walk down the road to get a mororsai - and getting a taxi was an effort. Would be much different if I had a car, as you did.
I was most happy living on Sukhumvit Soi 53. Always easy to get taxis and a short walk to get anywhere -- albiet, a bit of a dangerous walk with no footpaths and packs of soi dogs.
