I'm selling an old Lincoln welder to my gfs nieces husband. If you can follow that lead in you're not easily shocked.

Fighting current is something fish does, respectfully.
A fine example of some random machinery, hope the new owner doesn't get shocked when he plugs it in.
So years ago I picked up this old welder and began to wire in an outlet for it in the auxiliary ga.
All good then but I had to be sure I did it correctly back then so I revisited those connections. No, not the ones in Laos, Trump don't even care who is wired there.
Back to the point and no it's not a thing to be Russian.

That's what I'm doing now, well in a few. No nothing bad happens. ...yet. I'll see. It's just that I have seen things go wrong and Asia is the most likely place, for all you expatters, take note.
1; Bathroom heaters, ensure the breaker is open before you set foot in it. Yes, the ground is your friend.
The box here is 240 in, 120 each load line at 60 hurtz. Hurtz? Tell me about it! I managed to touch both leads off a power strip at the farm in Laos last January and although it made my hand go numb I almost got a hard on.
This is just a friendly reminder to you all. If you are going to play with things you can't see or don't understand use protections.
Especially if in Pattaya, STD are rampant.
Better safe than sorry. ....

It wouldn't be right to tell this story without a pic of the box I was hooking up with.
No, she ain't from PI.
I wouldn't knock a PI box if you know what I mean.
Be safe out there and many more tomorrows.
fffish.
Now to see if I can lay a beed.
The ground, that's right you don't want to hit it. Could break a hip. No joke.
So you did all the wiring correctly now how about the device? I used Emery cloth to clean off the ground to make sure I have a solid connection. Just sayen, no fried.......
fish tonight.
I remember when building one of my small hotels in Phuket that I got an urgent phone call in the middle of the night from my Thai family idiots to say that the half-built hotel was on fire. Since it was made of concrete, this seemed rather unlikely.
On arriving at said hotel, there was indeed a nice fire going. Idiot BIL had decided to connect his arc-welder to the temporary electricity supply, which was definitely not rated to supply the sort of currents that arc-welders require.
The supply connection had rapidly overheated, setting fire to the plastic enclosure box, then to the wooden post that it was installed on, then to the nearby tree.... great fireworks - NOT!
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
