Not too fond of East End style pies... Meh...
Of course I'd eat that pie, mash, and jellied eel combo. I've never had parsley "liquor" or jellied eels, but I'd be up for a plate. Better than Macca's or KFC imo.

If I got a whiff of it, that was classed as a main meal.
Will stick to me Pukka Pies Chicken Balti Pie from Tops for a while longer.
My favourite dinner since being a nipper.
Double pie, double mash, liquor and loads of vinegar.
Very difficult to find an authentic one outside of London. The Retox sometimes put it on their specials. It's ok, but not the same as back home.
My Mrs does a rectangular pie with a suet pastry base and puff pastry top that many say is perfect for pie, mash and liquor.
The main problem here is getting the liquor right. The fish base the cooks use is apparently not as good as eel base sauce.
Get thysen oop north for a proper rugby club pie and pea supper.
Home made steak pies with mushy peas, gravy and mint sauce.
If you can eat eel liquor, you'd enjoy the taste of spunk I reckon.
