You'll have to forgive me, I was exceedingly drunk and looking through a wine bottle.
Not sure what I was looking at, but suspect it was possibly taking this
As a possible way of writing บัว (lotus), obviously their font would certainly be taking liberties with it, particularly the tone mark.
As for Thai script,
could possibly be แต่ if one has a few glasses of Chianti.
Could randomly be ป and ง or ว if one really squints.
It's a nice looking piece.

So, basically you fucked up then.
That could be one way of putting it, yes.
Don't drink and read illegible ornaments kids.
In my new found sense of sobriety, I'll go with Simons Burmese script, though some of the characters do look like fancy schmancy fonts of Thai characters.

I'll tackle the meaning of that after a bottle.
Some Burmese script letters do look similar to Thai letters. Also, marks in Thai under letters that make a short 'u' and long 'uu' sound are similar in Burmese, as are some of the marks above the letters that make short 'i' and long 'ee' sounds Some of the letters also look more like Lao than Thai...
Anyway, I don't have a Thai or Burmese font installed on this computer, so I can't be asked to try to type the fonts/letters Still, nice bit of wood.
