    Your first toastee

One morning in Hua Hin I was mentioned to my then gf (and now a lovely wife) I had a craving for a healthy McDonald's breakfast.

She observed I was chilling and a bit lazy to go, so she went out and brought me a ham and cheese toast and a hot coffee from 7/11. I was suspicious at first and then I had a bite. I sad, oh my god this is actually better than McDonald's. How much? 40 baht she said.

Since then I have been addicted to a toastee sandwich.

When did you have a first toastee?

Maybe 6 years ago had my first. Its my go to food when on a bike tour or long ride. I don't like to stop for more than 15 minutes. Hit a PTT, gas up, use a relatively clean washroom (the female floor washers always come round for a peak). Then into seven for a ham and cheese and new to me this last year was Red cup coffee in a pouch with cream and sugar separate so you can add what you want. I find the 3-1 s all too sweet.

Funny thing is I never mentioned she kicked me out. Are you following me all the way on other Thai forums?

I've never had a seven-eleven "toastee". I now have one more thing on my bucket list to accomplish.

^^They're quite good when sober, but are pure fucken gold when hungover and chased down with a can of fizzy drink. Always get 2, it'll save you going back after eating the first one and immediately wanting another one.

Was it any good? My local sewen always seems to get rid of anything that tastes half decent. It has a selection of mama noodles that takes up half the store though.

I like to think that I invented the ragu toastie, as a means of using up home made bolognese leftovers.

Im sure someone will correct me.

Seems a long time since you were supposedly a Toronto based property magnate whom all af posters envied.

Now it's midnight minibus visa runs and 7-11 toasties, hoping your wife won't make you homeless.

    I hope so too.

At least not before the condo reaches 1 million dollars.

At the rate of annual 10% appreciation that should happen in about 12 years.... just in time for a retirement visa.

Meanwhile I'll be cheap charlying round Thailand for free

believe me, it should not be on your bucket list unless your list is to experience crap that's adequate if you've got the munchies.

They (7/11's) seem to be having a war on organic produce. They even individually-wrap bananas, ffs. -Personally speaking, I wouldn't entertain eating anything that is about 2 molecules away from being a fucking drainpipe.

Lunch time beer one Saturday afternoon in 1971 at the Wagon and Horses pub in Lancaster. My mate amazed me with a beans and sausages toastie!

I had my first toastie when I was 19...she was 25.

    Toastie
A woman who is a Hottie but is a bit older. She's been scorched a few times in life as well as admired and lusted after and now she's crisp and very very yummy with almost anything on top.
