I'm getting re-married again today, Valentines Day to the same woman I married on Valentines day in 2008. We had a row and divorced in 2013, spent a month apart then got back together. Wouldn't have bothered but we are planning to move to the US being married to me makes it much easier for her to obtain a visa.

LoL, zero chance of that. Truth be told, both her and her sister have absolutely fcuk-all money, (because their useless parents give them nothing). I send them a little money occasionally, but since they are teenagers, the requests for money come thick and fast

Nope - when I do that (and I have done before), I get a request within 5 minutes for more money to buy xyz, and then her older sister sends a message begging for money.

It's never-ending

For my own financial well-being, it's better to send nothing at all, because these 2 manage to survive somehow day-to-day without my money

Update: LoL! Just got this message from her older sister.

Which says (in badly-spelt Thai) "Can I have 300 baht to go and see the doctor?" (This older niece is clearly not as greedy for $ as her younger sister).

It's a daily soap-opera with them. Thank heavens I don't actually live near them......
