ps how does everyone do xmas - plastic tree i'm guessing - they are good nowadays + deccy's + xmas stockings for the kids ?

i did xmas pillows and other places some years to mix it up - i always found giving the kids a stocking was my favourite bit, i also left some clues in the stocking to other stuff around the house - all this was fun for them and kept them busy xmas morning whilst other stuff is going on like waking up.

In latter years me and friends did the same with a treasure seek for one of the presents for the kids which we did later in the day and extended the xmas pressie giving and ended as a mini friends party crawl.

i'm not going to deprive myself for that long.

Christmas lunch and all the trimmings earlier this week courtesy of Her Maj's civil servants while tomorrow will be my last day in work until mid-January.

It might not be what it was when we were kids, but it's still a bloody great time of year to be alive.

(it's still about 2 weeks too early to wish everyone a good one though )

Not a fan of prison food myself,heard it's terrible.
Hope the civil servants provide you with plenty of sprouts.
Tree went up today,looking at bit wonky.
Kids did it all themselves and Santa lists!!

I intend to have a feast what Zulu for the umpteenth time and get merry with the sherry,providing Santa doesn't drink it all the night before
