^ I never had Jesus down as being impatient and spiteful. Now I know! Live and learn.

Mandalay 2017, I certainly miss these sunsets. I must admit these closed borders are now starting to dampen my resolve somewhat. Fingers crossed for 2021.
^That's so beautiful! Yes, I agree with your sentiment. Perhaps i'll go abroad next year as well. Great pics on this thread!
Hope everyone is well. I've been super busy enjoying the summer and sun. A few recent pics.

Went for a fly - apparently there's lots of shark in the bay
later in the arvo caught some fish just near the above - the wife with the biggest but I didn't catch it! Pink snapper choice fish
if the sharks don't get you in the water
the bush chooks will get you on the beach
top holiday!
Hotel rooms are dirt cheap in the UK at the moment, £30 a night...
No rain today..
Dont mind if I do..
A small pile of old rubbish dug out from under one of my trees. Why?
Three builders are in the garden bending steel for a new wall when a sudden storm arrives. They run for shelter on the porch just as a simultaneous clap and flash burst overhead. Everything shook, myself included. One builder insisted that it had hit the top of this tree in my garden. I can see nothing to confirm that, all I know is it was very, very close by.
Later I was wandering about the fiefdom when I found this digging had been going on. The remains of the neighbour's ancient fridge were there so I collected the rubbish and grumbled to the gf about dogs digging in the garden again and the neighbour's historical throwing of rubbish outside her property.
The gf told me that it was the builders who had been digging. Apparently it is an Isan or Thai superstition that wherever lighning strikes that will reveal something precious in the ground. She kept talking about diamonds. A bit like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, perhaps.
Still learning new things every day.
