^^ Remarkable!
You certainly know your Korat junctions!
I must start being more observant with so many cameras about.

Have rhododendron bush, will travel...
^^Probably just let a lot of his old man's pontificating go over his head.
And then there was TD.
Yeah, I can understand it easily happening nowadays, with all the smartphones and tablets and social media sites etc. Half the parents are probably addicted, never mind the 7 year old kids.
Back in 2001 though, with just PCs and a few games consoles, for a 7 year old to be addicted. Definitely not right.
Almost failed 6th Grade due to that.
As for what Championship Manager 97/98 cost me, it ain't worth thinking about.
Delivering a golden tree snake to Korat zoo.
They say you shouldn't re-live your life's shortcoming through your kids.... well bollox to that. I always wanted to be a vet but soon realised that I'd never make the grades so have decided that my daughter WILL inherit my love of animals. A future vet in the making!
Here she tries hard to conceal her fondness of snakes.
(tablet in hand of course... but at least it's turned off!)
While on the topic...
A couple of checkered keelbacks in our snake house.
We get loads of snakes, and I catch and put them in our snake house for a few days as kind of temporary pets before either releasing them, or taking them to the zoo if they're interested.
This pair were rudely interrupted during an intimate moment. If you've ever wondered how snakes get it on, here's your answer.
And for those that like this kind of thing in close-up...
Apologies if I shouldn't be posting this stuff on a family forum.
That I'm not sure about. With many reptiles I think the male is a lot smaller than the female.
I'm thinking of frogs and toads where the small males will clutch on the back of the big females for spawning, but maybe the size difference there is because the females are full of eggs? I'll look into it.
......sure, I forgive you for centuries of intolerance, ignorance and oppression......
To be honest it was the general government edict which many people adhered too as many still do.
Unfortunately some social groups demand equality in all respects themselves which somewhat detracts from the own position.
They desire their group to be identified and accepted but disallow other groups a similar stance. Some groups have fought for millennia setting up and adopting certain stances and customs.
In my opinion they should be allowed to retain them and not allow them to be usurped by other groups.
For example I have a family member who I refer to as gay. He says he felt different since his teens. I suspect a dominant Swedish girl who he met about the same time may have instigated his adoption.
His friends and past partner were accepted and enjoyed by all in the family and still are. Our parents were slower but eventually they accepted this new persona back into the family fold.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
Nyhamna, west coast of northern Norway.
If you're in the UK and turn on your gas hob to fry up some sausages, or to make some breakfast or dinner for a Teakdoor thread, there's a good chance the gas passed through here first.
Gas is first pumped through two pipelines from the Ormen Lange field, 120km offshore, to this processing plant in Nyhamna. From here the gas is pumped on to Easington in the UK through the 1200km long Langeled pipeline which provides 20% of the UK's gas requirements. The 42/44" pipeline was the longest subsea pipeline in the world at the time of construction.
great wall - hiked 8kms along it - very steep and crumbling in parts - hard work, I was rooted afterwards. Really good though
Chitty blocks
