Prospect Cottage, Dungeness. Its garden was famously planted by the late Derek Jarman in an almost desert like environment.

Its probably more damp with dark crevasses, not the ones in Nana, this will encourage more insects as a food source and somewhere they can roost for want of a better word. The black ones are more like a bee sting its them little brown ones that hurt, had two get me on the foot both times when really wet and they were looking to get out of the water, fukin hurt and hurt for a while... feel the burn

An especially poignant photo from this morning's dog walk. Yogi, our latest puppy, is looking back at his father having a bask in the morning sun.

The father turned up in the neighbourhood about a year ago, half starved and severely crippled from a presumable car accident. No chance of taming him, but he's carved a niche for himself with the help of regular food and now lives with a couple of (now) neutered girls. To my knowledge he's sired at least three litters despite his injuries - no doubting this as his features are so distinctive. Very successful in evolutionary terms.

I wonder if father and son sense something? Or have I just had one too many YaDong...

Had an op for an inguinal hernia in the Bangkok Hospital, Korat last year. The pre-op shave by a pretty young nurse was the best thing that's happened to me in years!

As KT posted his Mrs up here's mine - bless her she thinks she's old and over the hill, she 8 years younger than me...and i still think she's a little keeper.

She has told me to chill a lot over the 14 years we've been together and she's the polar opposite of me, although i am a calm fuker compared to 30 years ago I still get angry but all her 50kgs still keeps me under control... lover her to bits.

Terry, that sleeping accommodation looks a bit dangerous. If you're pissed or needing a piss in the middle of the night, I reckon you're break a leg falling from that tent...

is not going to bring me for another walk with that unfashionable length of baling twine.
