Breakfast at posh cafe in KL.
Cost 5MR. Approx 95p
Occasionally Asians’ unwillingness to question anything is an advantage. I come here every day for breakfast and every day pay the same. Because if that’s what the Big Boss fat fingered onto the till menu then it must be right, right?
Afternoon swim. 50 m pool at Bandar tun Razak kl. 3mr entry
^ They love swimming in all their sweat laden clothes
Are you in Pavillion Residences or Royale Chulan?

Pavilion Residences. Stuck here sorti g flat after crack whore Datin bitch tenant vacated.
Flat finally ready for new tenants after a month of work. Have a second viewing tomorrow plus another offer from an embassy subj ct to a radio comms check. So hopefully will getvitvaway without more delay. The KL market is dper saturated so Im having to make sure everything is pucker to stand out from the crowd
Maids room redecorated. Ive done 60% of the work myself. The locals are somewhat work shy
The “trick” for the expat market here seems to be keep it neutral, but not sterile. Euro furniture with just enough “Asian shit” so they know they’re east of Suez. It’s worked so far, anyway. Fingers crossed.
I had to replace three cabinet doors destroyed by crack whore tenants. Thats meant having to repaint the entire bottom half of kitchen run. It’s a slight mis match from top but save a sack of cash and or time
Excuse me waiter but there is a fly in my Beer Lao.
Does that include putting Chinese propaganda posters on the ceiling and a rug on the wall?Im having to make sure everything is pucker to stand out from the crowd
Yep. Inspired by a weird as tits on an emu hotel near HKT :-)
The domed ceiling of the Rotunda building in Cheltenham. It was built as the first pump room for the “waters” in the late 1820s and is a Grade 1 listed building, very much part of the town’s Regency character
i first knew it as Lloyds bank. Last year the Ivy Brasserie group took over the lease, spent a huge chunk of cash and created a very pleasant wateri g hole with decent food too
The local flower man in Cheltenham. The NIMBY jewelers nearby is perpetuating a disturbing racial stereotype and lobbying the Council to revoke his licence. They feel it’s detrimental to the character of the area. Sadly the libdum Council is not all business friendly, whatever their PR department might chose to portray. There’s been a local petition to keep them there. I make a point of buying mt weekly flowers for a holiday rental business from them. The dog is also encouraged do her business as proximate to the purveyors of 9 ct shite and the sort of second rate watches worn by photocopier reps as possible.
...a flower shop enhances a neighborhood...even if the seller is camouflaged among his wares...
Good news for you:

^ thanks. I heard the issue had been raised again. Hopefully that isn't the case.
The response from the jewellery shop is typical. The local Councillor Chris Mason is 100 %business friendly and works all the hours under the sun to represent the ward which also includes Montpellier Gardens of which I occasionally post
The fridge alarm has been going off. The quote to repair was 850 mr. Sod that I thought. I can buy a new one for 2400 mr. Except that’s the UK price. In Malaysia it’s 8000 mr. Approx 70k thb. Import duty. Trump was right.
New master circuit board and voila. The alarm still on. So they came back foc and fitted new sensors.
The Jan 1 smoking under cover ban in Malaysia has solved the problem of people sitting around in cafes smoking cigarettes. In fact it’s solved the problem of people sitting around in cafes altogether.
