Congrats tunk.
The American passport designers didn't hold back on their patriotic symbols.
I've never heard of any Thai needing to ask the Thai government for permission to leave the country. I've even witnessed Thai people leave the country without any such permission.
Perhaps it's an urban myth in some parts of the world, or perhaps it's only applicable to political prisoners or certain activists.
Didn't Taksin have to ask to leave to visit the Beijing Olympics in 2008? (promising to return )
Unless yer kid changes tax laws to scam billions of USD from the government coffers, she should be right tunk.
I was in my 5-star bathroom in my house in Laos, and happened to look up at the quality light-fitting. I saw something very strange (and funny)
The bubbly white surface is the vertical wall, and the ceiling tiles are visible, with the light fixed to them. There is a gap of about 3cm between the ceiling tiles and the wall, (because to be honest, I told a little lie about the 5-star house - the photo demonstrates that it is in fact of shite construction!!).
That is neither here nor there, because what is definitely 'here' is a furry cat It's not dead. It is one of 2 kittens that I found in an empty cupboard in a locked room upstairs in my house a few weeks ago. Quite how they got there is beyond me, because I found no means of entry into the closed cupboard. However, those 2 kittens were about 10 days old and healthy. I put them in a hat close to my house and their mum came and picked them up and took them off to be raised in the roof void above my bathroom!

If that gap is any bigger, the kitten will fall into my bathroom
