work pressure got a bit much so took a few days off to fishiing - up the coast - used to school holiday there a few decades ago
looking north where the dutch sailors used to wreck ships on the cliffs

Awesome scenery. Said to myself, "I want to go fishing there!" before I read your comment that you went there for fishing. But I'm a bit confused; If you're looking north and the open sea is to your left, you must be on the west coast? I had assumed you were east coast.
^^ west coast - its kalbarri - caught no fish of consequence -
TC - they are some sort of banksias - when the flowers are out before the summer, its a bit like gems studded in the semi-desert.
I can't help but belt out The Triffids "its a wide open road" at the top of my voice - no one around to hear it
^Diametrically opposite the moon, and the moon rose at sundown last night, so yes, probably Venus.
Minah. But I'm sure there will be a punny joke somewhere involving them and Major Mitchells.
Thanks.
Re posts 184, 191-193...it is a native Australian bird but I did spell Miner incorrectly. It is a Noisy Miner. Totally agree on the nuisance that is the imported Mynah bird.
yep - part of the noisy bustard genus
Set up new GoPro Hero 7 on the Revo for a road trip up to some mountain retreat with wifey tomorrow. No idea what the terrain is like. Just know its some small resort on the top of a mountain and the road is "treacherous" as my wife said. Of course I laughed inside a bit as she has no idea what "treacherous" is until you do a few Jeep Jamborees up in Northern California.
If anything noteworthy I will post the vid.
Nice carving
Allo, allo, whats all this then.
Yummy
