An old one, late c19. I think it’s a Turkman? I had authentication done before buying. Could look it up when back in uk. Sadly im in KL :-(
...doesn't look like a Turkoman, but I can't place the medallion or the borders...memory has stopped serving...

...yes, that's a Turkoman...an easily recognizable "gul" pattern and the usual shades of red...I have one myself...
...a lovely carpet...Turkomans are beautiful...
...if I had access to my carpet books, I could probably find a name or weaving location for that carpet...

Id be interested tp know more about it. I suspect they can be good investments It just suited the room.

...I have no idea about investing in carpets, but I became obsessed with them during my time in Isfahan...I managed to acquire 15 or so along with a number of kilims...I still feel the pull of fascination when I see one gracing a floor...
