Samsung has removed an ad in its wearable products campaign in Singapore after receiving backlash for it.
In an attempt to promote diversity and inclusion, the South Korean electronics giant selected a number of talent, including a Malay-Muslim woman and her drag queen son, for its ‘Listen to your heart’ campaign.
The ad showed how the woman used Samsung’s wireless earbuds to ‘listen to her heart’ and love her son in spite of queerness being frowned upon by their religion.
However, this particular talent pairing in the ad upset some viewers in the Malay-Muslim community in Singapore and they urged Samsung to take the ad down, which the South Korean company duly obliged.
Diversity, equality, inclusion and justice alive and well in Singapore.
Many years ago when I lived in north Bristol, UK we had a family of foxes living in a den underneath the garden shed. Bristol is renowned for it's population of urban foxes. I used to love watching fox cubs playing in the garden.
This pic was in the news yesterday, again from north Bristol and it brought back some memories.

This stuff makes me miss living in the UK.
Of course it's always tempting to caption such a pic.
How about, "Reg Dingle finally visits Joe90 but the kids were using the manshed!"
^^ I briefly lived in Chipping Sodbury. Glad I avoided picking up the accent.
I took these in a wooded area last summer along a forest trail. I had forgotten about it then saw the pictures pop up on my computer.
