It seems to me that you are not playing the part of the husband/the man in the relationship and that is why she's nagging.

Some will no doubt mention equality, the twenty first century and that kind of thing but even with that, some women still want the man to play a certain role in a relationship. From what you've posted, I get the feeling that your wife would like you to be more of a "man".

Even though it was her idea 4 years ago for you to live with her in her home rent free etc, for whatever reason at the time, I think her needs or expectations are not being met. Thai women like to be taken care of in one way or another (women from other countries too, perhaps) so I think it would be good for you to address that issue. Be more of a "traditional husband" for a while, or at least play that role for a while and see how it goes.
