Was he watching you squatting then?
^^^^Looks almost like a "Guillotine" type clean-cut decapitation..?
A bit disturbing actually..
Tell me about it. Worst thing is that I still haven't found the head...
^Check the litter box in a few hours
^Siamese or Javanese? Anyway, nice cut!
I was only kidding when I appealed for Dilli to be banned from this thread for posting the cat inside the python today....!
But the pic is gone....!
Just kidding mods...!
Good old Niddy
Atonement
^^That is a cool pic.
I never noticed before that tigers eyes have round pupils, unlike the 'cats-eye' slits on domestic cats.
Maybe tigers are evolved more as day-time hunters.
https://www.techtimes.com/articles/7...lit-pupils.htm
Their results show that species with vertical slit-shaped pupils tend to be ambush predators, whereas those with circular pupils tend to be "active foragers," which chase down prey.
"A surprising thing we noticed from this study is that the slit pupils were linked to predators that were close to the ground," co-author William Sprague, a postdoctoral researcher in Banks' lab, said in a statement. "So domestic cats have vertical slits, but bigger cats, like tigers and lions, don't. Their pupils are round, like humans and dogs."
Because you know - science.
^hmmmmm.... very intersting nids
"Yet, none this explains why cats have vertical slit pupils, whereas horses have horizontal slit pupils. The researchers found that horizontal slit pupils were most common among grazing prey animals like deer and sheep."
What angle are they on goats betty?
Here is the eye of a Lama...
Horizontal...but

Goats have rectangular pupils to increase the depth perception in their peripheral vision. The narrower the pupil, the greater the benefit, and round pupils, such as those in humans, can't narrow sufficiently to provide the same benefit.
The most gorgeous natured and exquisitely presented rag-doll cat I have ever encountered. Stunning blue eyes and the most typically placid nature.
The cat was making half hearted attempts at chasing these chooks but ragdolls are the complete pussies of the feline world and the least scary cat you will ever meet and the chooks were not even bothering to stop pecking as the play stalking attacks were launched.
The cat belonged to a lovely lady from the small Ameru tribe from around the modern day city of Meru which has the notable distinction of being connected to Nairobi via a road made from tarmac.
I had to drive over the top of sunny Tamborine Mountain today to make this lady's acquaintance. A steep climb but luckily this road is also made from tarmac.
