    Hotels in BKK for visas.

    What ho,

Looks like a last minute change of plans means that we'll need to to fly down to BKK on Monday or Tuesday at the latest, and get a UK visa and a Schengen visa for her to fly with me on the 20th to the UK and France for a couple of months.

Any sensible suggestions for a reasonable hotel for 3-4 nights that's relatively convenient for the agencies concerned?

    Cheers

Last year, when renewing my passport, I stayed at the Adelphi Suites on Soi 8, just over the road from the Trendy Building where you'll get your visas. Highly recommended, particularly the breakfasts (which are included in the room rate). Very near Nana BTS station also, so convenient to get anywhere. Soi 8 doesn't seem to get the business ladies hanging around.

Rooms are great, with separate living room, with a kitchen, and good bathrooms. Looking at their site, bargains could be had methinks. From recollection, I paid around 3000 baht/night.

A short video I took of the room:

That looks like a really good rec.

Certainly 'the trendy' :antiperistalsis: must be a bang up location.

It's very convenient for where you're headed.

Hope my death includes two annual tours around Europe.
