Win10 Home: Finally disabling Windows Update :)

I hate Win10, the fucking Indian OS is a like a trojan horse, will download all kind of shit, fill up your hard disk with crap etc...

I did some clean up, remove 1GB worth of crap files that were just there temp for no fooking reasons, bunch of indian fookers

this is the worst OS ever, every time I disabled Windows Update, the fooking thing woud find new ways to download updates and try to install that miserable Windows 10 Creator Update with another 10GB of crap

anyway found a way to disable the whole fooking Windows Update thing, undocumented on the web of course, so you will be the first to know here on TD

There does appear to be a way of "delaying" allegedly for months, W10 updates, 'arry provided a useful link in another thread.

Depending on your PC a Creators Update takes 1-2 hours to install. There are two a fucking year and they usually add functionality.

Start it before you go to bed.

Other Security patches take a lot less, a cup of coffee usually.

Hi guys, glad you all liked my thread

the solution is very easy, and here is the solution for those who don't need screenshots (like Harry):

    1. Go to Control Panel, switch to "Classic View" and in the "Programs ..." section, select the line with "Windows 10 Update Assistant" and right-click "Uninstall"
    2. Go to "Administrative and Tools" section, and select "Services", find "Windows Update", click on "Properties" and select "Disabled" for Startup mode, and click also on the "Stop" button

You would think this is enough, but no, the little Indian fookers knew smart arses could disable their shit program, so added a few script to make sure you couldn't disable the whole thing, so here we go:

    3. Go to "Administrative and Tools" section, select "Scheduler", and then click on the "Microsoft" folder in the left, there find the folder "Windows Update", and click on it. On the tasks panel you will see all kinds of scripts there for Windows Update. Right click on everyone of them, and select "stop" or "disable"

and bye bye Windows 10 Update forever

also noticed my PC running much faster, booting much faster etc... since the Indian fools would download shit in the background all the time, slowing down your porn video and everything on the fooking internet. Same same with boot process, no more 15min shutdown with "Wait while we configure Windows"

Next, I will make a few screenshots for those who are too challenged with MS navigation and Standard MO

Tried those, completely worthless and hopeless, and have been disabled by MS since, to prepare and force that wonderful Win10 Creator Update

hey plumber boy, maybe you should read your own links and get a fooking clue

you can't install that version on consumer PC, dumbo, but you wouldn't know since you are a silly bitcoin hack

Microsoft doesn’t want people using Windows 10 LTSB on general purpose PCs, though. As Microsoft puts it, “LTSB is not intended for deployment on most or all the PCs in an organization; it should be used only for special-purpose devices. As a general guideline, a PC with Microsoft Office installed is a general-purpose device, typically used by an information worker, and therefore it is better suited for the [Current Branch] or [Current Branch for Business] servicing branch.”

LTSB is only for rare mission-critical devices.

    you are frightfully niave butterfluffer

you can install it on a consumer pc if you wish - but it comes with out all the pretty sh1te , so without the trinkets and baubles I doubt it will interest you

many people use it on mining rigs as it does not fcuk up their system with updates - and the windows support for over 5 video cards is better

god, do you understand the notion that you can't buy or download the LTSB version or the ISO image for it ? also you don't have a license for it, and would require a full re-install with the installation media, and still you wouldn't have the OEM key for it to activate that special license

but nice try, and it was an interesting reading

of course unless you have the "regedit" hack to switch the "Home" or "Enterprise" version into LTSB, we consumer can't have it or buy it or download it from an official source
