    Zuckerburg

Senator Richard Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, zeroed in on the central issue of the hearing, asking Mr. Zuckerberg whether he would be comfortable sharing aloud the name of the hotel where he stayed on Monday night, or whether he would be comfortable sharing the names of the people he has messaged this week.

“No. I would probably not choose to do that publicly here,” Mr. Zuckerberg said.

“I think that may be what this is all about,” Mr. Durbin said. “Your right to privacy."

Maybe he could do with some Cliff's notes from Trump's team on acting like a human being?

all things considered, i think it went pretty well for zuckerberg yesterday....most of those senators had no idea what they were talking about and they just looked old and befuddled.

we'll see what happens with the house today, but i think he'll probably again escape relatively unscathed.

    Stock market agrees.

I'm hoping he drags Windows and Google into it. Windows has been getting a free pass on data harvesting.

I have no idea! But he - Zucker whatever would have to be a 'front man" or patsy for the "globalists" or whatever, there is no way there going to let a snot nosed kid have so much power, is there?
Surely we haven't escalated to that level of fuckedupedness yet!

    Isn't Bono a major shareholder?

If Zuckerberg goes down, can they imprison him too?

Bunch of ignorant grey haired old farts reading cliff notes from their staff minions. Zuckerburg mopped the floor with them. More political entertainment added to the never ending 3 ring circus paid for by our hard earned taxes.

^ What a load of shite.

Zuckerburg has been extensively coached, rehearsed his answers.

HIS personal data got knicked ... ... purely a sympathy call.

The CEO and large shareholder of the World's 7th largest company* with a market cap of US $518 BILLION
His personal share is about 1/4 of the issued capital, worth over US $20 BILLION

He's lying his fu*king arse off.

Exactly. I really don't know what all the fuss is about.

I have a Facebook page but have the security setting on "friends only", and never post personal information which I wouldn't want found out if there was a data breach. If people post shit in personal accounts set to "friends only" security settings they can still only expect to occasionally have data breaches.
It's not like we aren't constantly warned about hackers in Eastern Europe, China, North Korea, Iran etc etc ad infinitum....

Other websites which ask for my birthday get a date very similar to my birthday but one or two days and years different.

Zuckerberg did have an odd expression. Is he like that all the time ? I had only ever previously seen photos....not live footage. Perhaps he has Aspergers ? That would account for his having been so focused as to be able to build up his empire.

Aspergers? No, that's what Pattayapiles got thrown in the can for serving up in the dinner thread.

    Some bad ass burgers.

It's more to do with the like button and your mental state wherein the algorithms predict your personality type and feed you adds that you'll have a high probability of responding to.

    It gets deeper......

A typical show and deception for people to "demonstrate" how their trusted deputies care about democracy and how they can chastise (on people's behalf) the big guys. How many such shows we have seen? WTC, banksters, car moguls, oil moguls, to name just a few.

Few inconvenient questions, well prepared short answers, appreciate your precious time, hundreds photographers taking thousands photos from each side, everybody happy, case closed...

@latindancer - I don't know if Zuck has Aspergers, but I've watched the movie The Social Network. In that film, he was portrayed as somewhat antisocial and a geek. Our (my friend's and mine) analysis of him is that maybe he's like many super smart people who have high IQ and are good at what they do but have low EQ and poor social skills.

@fish - thanks for the pics, had some some chuckles. He does look a bit like Data from the Trek.
