Maybe you should PM Earl about a course of urine therapy. A couple of cups of piss and bang you are cured!!
It really cured his alcoholism. You can tell by his posts.
A good way to stop smoking is to turn them around .
Put the other end in your mouth and light the butt end
...when I cold turkey'd decades ago, I recall the craving for cigs lasting 24-48 hours and then dying away rather quickly...in less than a month I was thoroughly and self-righteously intolerant of smokers...
We seem to have two separate parts to our brains : the conscious and the subconscious. And it has been said that we make decisions with the subconscious and simply rationalize them with the conscious.
So it's an odd thing, this having an addiction.....one an be at odds with oneself. If a person wants to give up, consciously they want to (but it helps if they really want to). But at the same time, the subconscious (being connected to the emotions and bodily pleasures) remembers the pleasure of it and so one sometimes goes with the decision to "just have one", which of course leads to more.
It has been said that the best way to give up is to ensure that the last experience you have of the addictive substance is a quite unpleasant one. I did this myself when giving up smoking in my early twenties : I drank too much and had too much nicotine one night and threw up....it was awful. I've hated it ever since, though I did fidget for a few weeks, as I was used to holding a cigarette in my hand. Keeping myself busy doing something for a couple of weeks helped a lot, too.
Good luck, Dillinger. Take up aerobic exercise of some sort, perhaps ? Something that uses the lungs....

Start with cold chicken and work your way up to the bigger bird...
Yep. Most of the nicotine in your system is flushed out within 3 days, then around 14-28 days for the residual traces to leave. The 'associations' of smoking with certain situations and scenarios can last a lifetime though. That's why quitting is so difficult for a lot of people (myself included), and why help to rid yourself of the idea of a nicotine hit as a "reward" is essential, to stop later cravings. The Allen Carr book works very well in doing this.
Etch this image into your brain to make sure you never smoke again.
^^ "Smoking cures kippers"
If your urine appears to be waste product then you have some serious malfunction going on inside you. And then that urine would be a natural medicine to heal your body.
Keep in mind everything western medicine and culture tell you about urine is a lie, to keep you a nice obedient consumer of their butchery and deadly pharmaceuticals.
