God love him ... reminds me of our dearly departed Farm Dog

More than four months after its owner died, a dog still refuses to leave the entry of a hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The dog's owner, a homeless man, was stabbed in a local park and rushed to Santa Casa de Novo Horizonte medical centre where
he died from his injuries, according to local media reports.

Following the fatal incident, the dog chased the ambulance carrying his owner and has waited at the doors of the medical
centre ever since.
Hospital staff — who have provided food and water for the loyal companion — said the dog, whose name is unknown, has
never tried to enter the building.

Beautiful dog.

Definitely my favorite animal, mainly because of it's faithful, loving nature.

Pity most humans don't share that noble trait.

I remember as a kid walking to school there was a fellow who would pass me walking to work. His dog always stopped at the gate and waited until he came home. I would still see it as I walked home from school.
One day he died and the dog could still be seen for years waiting for it's owner.

I have 16 dogs scattered all over... in the house and in the farm.

I had to shoot 2 recently coz they kept attacking my piglets, etc.

Where I am at there are no animal shelters, etc to take them... And if I let the natives do the job they'd scald the poor animals in boiling water til they die or smack them with wood until they stop breathing.

I'm still heart-broken over it... and feeling guilty as phuck... even had nightmares... but its tough out here and its the only world there is. Its the only way to live....

The only reason canines have always remain popular is that they remind us too much of ourselves.
Predictable, without question, vacant of independence, go along with popular notions, etc....
